The Annual Research Conference at Fazaia Medical College, Air University is scheduled on Thursday 21st October 2021. The conference will be held online and will comprise of oral presentations by the undergraduate participants. Acknowledging the importance of application of evidence based medicine in our health care system, the theme of the conference is “Promoting Heath through Evidence”.
The conference will be conducted under the following sub themes:
• Triple burden of disease (Communicable, Non communicable, Nutrition),
• Maternal and child health,
• Global pandemic,
• Quality and patient safety,
• Technology and innovation in health,
• Advances in medical education,
• Mental health and wellness
It is an ideal platform for undergraduate MBBS students to present their latest research findings relevant to conference theme and represent their institution at national level.
The primary aim of the conference is to encourage evidence based learning, enhance critical thinking and improve research practices amongst MBBS students. This conference will further be beneficial in evoking, empowering and revolutionizing the future clinical practices of these undergraduate students by inculcating the significance of evidence, research and innovation in their learning which will altogether be helpful for transforming our healthcare system.
