In the wake of Hurricane Beryl, Red Cross volunteers across the Caribbean have once again answered the call, providing relief, comfort, and hope to those affected.

Their actions remind us of both the vulnerability of our region and the power of preparedness and solidarity. As the climate crisis intensifies, we must continue to build resilient communities, equip volunteers, and stand ready to respond together.

Happy Solferino 2025!

25/06/2025

When Henry Dunant saw the battlefields of Solferino on June 24th, 1859, the idea of the Red Cross was born.

Together, and all across the world,

Let's keep paving a path of humanity.

Let’s keep the flame burning.

Happy Solferino 2025!

❤️ Humanity in Action – Nevis Branch Volunteers Leading the Way ❤️

On May 8th – World Red Cross Day, our incredible volunteers from the Nevis Branch launched a heartfelt initiative to support vulnerable individuals and families across the island.

Since then, they have distributed hygiene packages and food vouchers, reaching a total of 41 families and individuals in need.

This initiative is a true reflection of the Red Cross spirit of humanity and compassion. We extend our deepest thanks to the volunteers who have spearheaded this effort and continue to serve with dedication, empathy, and heart.

📢 It’s Official – "It’s Your Move" Has Launched! 🌊🌪️🔥
The St. Kitts and Nevis Red Cross Society is proud to support the launch of the regional awareness campaign “It’s Your Move,” led by PIRAC/French Red Cross under the Ready 360° / 3 Oceans programme.

In the face of growing natural hazards and climate change, this campaign aims to build stronger, more resilient communities across the Caribbean through accessible and engaging public awareness.

🗓️ Running from June 2025 to October 2026, each month will highlight a major hazard with lifesaving tips and messages.

Let’s stay ready—because when it comes to disaster preparedness… It’s Your Move!
