Tony Greig was diagnosed with epilepsy in the 1950s, during which time laws in the USA permitted people with this disorder to be denied entry into certain public places. A UK law that allowed annulment of marriages on grounds of epilepsy was abolished only in as late as 1971. In Greig's beloved Sri Lanka, social stigma affects employment, marriage, education and social functioning of people with epilepsy, according to the Epilepsy Association of Sri Lanka (EASL). This is Greig's story as an epilepsy warrior.
