Hi there 👋🏼 Dr. Chelsea Garvin here. I am the owner, creator, and a treating Doctor of Physical Therapy with Life Changes Physical Therapy. I began LCPT almost 5 years ago out of a desire to help more women and moms as they transition into motherhood, through motherhood, and beyond motherhood!
Over the past 5 years, my passion for this work has only grown! I especially love helping pregnant women feel better, couples feel prepared for an empowering birth experience, postpartum women regain their confidence in their bodies, women enjoy intimacy throughout all stages of life, and everyone getting rid of those uncomfortable (and rarely talked about) pelvic floor issues.
During my time with LCPT, I have spent countless hours continuing to educate myself and refining my skills through courses to better serve these populations, but I believe my experiences as a mom have taught me more than any course ever could.
I have been blessed to have the title of mom to four little ones (Graham - 5 years, Sawyer - 4 years, Cooper - 1 year and Finley - 1 year) which has allowed me to gain personal experience with: singleton pregnancies, multiples pregnancy, prepared labor & delivery, completely unprepared labor & delivery, vaginal deliveries with and without tearing, c-section delivery and recovery, postpartum recovery with and without other kids to care for, diastasis recti, pelvic floor dysfunction, breastfeeding, sleepless nights, pain with returning to activity postpartum, aches and pains from mothering babies, toddlers, and little kids, feeling like I have NO time to focus on my own body, strength, function, or confidence, and so much more!

We are here to help without judgment, without unrealistic expectations of the time you have outside of our sessions, without forgetting to take into account ALL of the factors that affect women throughout these vulnerable stages of life!
