Happy Wednesday!!! The clinic wanted David to go get his kidneys checked due to his high levels. We just left the nephrologist and he got an awesome report!!!! He needs to drink more water but 🎉🎉
I know yall still praying 🥰🙏 and we love ya for it!!!💚💚💚

Hello everyone she let's me post now. It's been a year since my surgeries. I am doing great if only someone would hire an old man lol. But seriously I am doing great I feel better than I did for a long time. I didn't realize just how sick I was before. I want to thank each and every follower on this page and for all the interaction
From each of you. I will continue to post and if anyone out there has questions I'm sure sure between my wife and I we will definitely try to answer them. I hope everyone had a great 4th of July talk to y'all soon.(The back left is me with some of my family) P.S. she had my daughter make this shirt for me.

Hey hey yall! Just a quick update.
So we had to come back to Florida Mayo clinic for David's (Opie) follow up. Yall know we had a lot if trouble getting funds/ insurance to come back for his 4 month then 6 month checkups. So they are treating this as his year mark.
So David is 98% good. His cholesterol is a little high so giving him meds for that for 6 months.. He has some kidney damage due to his liver meds so that got a dosage change and another med added to hopefully heal his kidneys. They want him on a Mediterranean diet from here out. Lots of restrictions. Pretty much like before. With occasional cheat days. But as far as his liver and everything else he has exceeded expectations!!!!!!!
Ain't GOD SO GOOD!
Opie doesn't have to come back for a year. Still need labs done bi weekly for a month or so then monthly.

We are trying to raise $ to get back to Florida Mayo for Opie's transplant follow up. We are going to start setting up a yard/bake sale each day the weather / appointments allow. Captains log 2- 11-23 2:12a after 7 hours from first call ER said everything looked great. I'm not sure why the previous tests were so off. They speculated a bad draw. I speculate mega prayers! THANK YALL!!!
Opie ( David)was a bit dehydrated so they hooked him up with some iv fluids, and we were discharged. Now home for some sleep!

Good morning everyone!!!! I know it's been a minute since we've posted on here. Not really a lot been happening just making it day to day. David is doing really good and getting better everyday. We have a follow up appointment in March in Jacksonville if things play out right.
