One of the hardest parts of dealing with dizziness? Sorting through all the conflicting info.

I’ve been in your shoes
confused, overwhelmed, and frustrated by providers who dismissed my symptoms simply because they didn’t know how to treat them.

Here’s the good news: there are providers out there who specialize in this work, and they’re sharing valuable, accessible info online. The key is learning how to filter out the noise and advocate for yourself.

Dizziness doesn’t mean you’re making it up. You deserve care that actually helps.

That fear of “What if this lasts forever?” is one of the hardest parts of dealing with dizziness.

Many forms of dizziness, like cervicogenic dizziness or PPPD, are highly treatable with the right strategies. Your brain loves certainty, which is why it clings to fear. But most people I work with (and myself included) go on to live dizzy-free lives.

It’s time to stop believing every scary post you see online. There’s hope and there’s help.

Hi! I’m Dr. Drew and I’m a physical therapist specializing in dizziness and neck pain.

Five years ago, I had a massive flare up of dizziness that made my life pretty rough. It was scary and I couldn’t get clear answers on what was causing it until I found a PT who was able to accurately diagnose me and help me get my life back.

Now, my goal is to give people going through this what I would have wanted from the start: Clear answers, a clear plan, daily guidance, and emotional support.

Sinus pressure that won’t budge? It might not be your sinuses at all.

Many of my patients are surprised to learn that neck tension can cause facial pain and pressure, especially when the trigeminal nerve is involved. Paying attention to how your symptoms shift, whether with posture or gentle movement, can reveal a lot about what’s really going on.

The good news? When you know the true cause, you can actually do something about it.

Questions about this topic? Pop them below. I’m happy to chat with y’all about it.

Proprioception is how your body knows where it is in space, even with your eyes closed. When that feedback gets distorted, it can lead to symptoms that feel confusing: dizziness, fogginess, even dissociation.

Dizziness isn’t always a lifelong sentence.

There’s a big difference between having a dizzy day and feeling stuck in a cycle of symptoms. With the right care, recovery is not just possible, it should be expected.

If you’re stuck in a cycle of symptoms, send me a DM. Let’s chat. I’m here to help!

Your brain constantly pulls input from your eyes, ears, and body to figure out where you are in space. When those signals don’t line up, it creates confusion and sometimes, dizziness.

For people with PPPD, this disconnect happens more often. A moving crowd or passing traffic can easily overwhelm the system, triggering that disorienting, floating feeling.

When you’re motivated to show up for your family, it’s tempting to push through symptoms just to keep going.

But more effort doesn’t always mean better results, especially with dizziness. The key is gradual exposure that your brain can actually handle.

It might feel slower at first, but it’s the most reliable way to get back to doing the things that matter.

You can start that process today... the link in bio has more on how I help people do exactly that.

Recovery isn’t usually a single moment
 It’s a gradual shift.

You don’t need to wait for some magic fix to start moving forward. It’s the tiny, repeated steps that turn the volume down over time.

If you’re ready to take that first small step, the link in my bio is a good place to start.

It’s wild how often people are told to just give up movement they used to do confidently.

This patient had been active and strong her whole life but after dealing with neck-related dizziness, she was told to avoid overhead lifting
 forever.

That kind of advice doesn’t just limit movement, it can mess with your identity and confidence. And more often than not, it’s based in fear, not fact.

Getting back to lifting overhead wasn’t instant or easy, but it was absolutely possible. With the right strategy, we rebuilt strength, restored mobility, and gave her the tools to feel in control again.
Don’t settle for restrictions when your body’s capable of recovery.

Feel off, but your balance looks fine? It might not be a balance issue at all.

Neck-related dizziness (yep, that’s a thing) can make you feel floaty even when everything seems normal. Balance and dizziness don’t always show up the same—or need the same fix.
