𝑅𝑒𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑘 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝐷𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑘 🍹

We all know staying hydrated is so important. Our delicious new Coconut Water Flavouring can not only be added to water, check out these super simple water flavouring hacks for a little bit of fun. And they’re suitable for all Steps!

Coconut Jelly Sweets 🥥 🌴
For a sweet tooth, why not try making some jellies.
Mix up half a teaspoon (or more if you wish) of water flavouring and 300ml warm water
Add four teaspoons, or 20g, of Mix-a-Mousse*
Blend using a blender or electric hand whisk, then leave for about 5-10 minutes to settle
Carefully remove the bubbles from the top, leaving just the jelly mixture
Pour really slowly into your moulds
Chill until set, then tuck in!
*Recipe not suitable for vegetarians

Coconut Mojito Mocktail 🌴🥥
For a refreshing mocktail just add:
Fizzy spring water
Crushed ice
Slices of lime and mint
You could even try mixing a little Coconut Water Flavouring with a little Pineapple Water Flavouring, Vanilla Shake MRP and some crushed ice for a Pina Colada twist!

Coconut Lollies 🥥🌴
Why not try freezing your water flavouring to make some refreshing lollies. Just make up your water flavouring, pour into lolly moulds and freeze. You could always try adding some fruit to the moulds too, depending what Step you’re on.

Coconut Slushie🌴🥥
For that extra chill factor, why not make a slushie. It’s super simple; just make up your water flavouring, pour yourself a glass and add a load of crushed ice and garnish. Don’t worry if you don’t have a slushie maker, just wrap some ice up in a tea towel and give it a good bash with a rolling pin!

I gained 2 pounds overnight, what's going on?!” 😱

I often get asked this by slimmers, and the first thing I’ll say is, "Don't panic, it's not fat!"

How do I know this? Well, in order to gain 1 pound of extra fat you need to consume 3,500 calories MORE than your recommended daily allowance (which is 2,000 for a woman and 2,500 for a man). So, to gain 2 pounds of fat overnight a woman would need to have eaten 9,000 calories in one day! Pretty difficult, hey?

So, if it's not fat, what caused that gain? Here are 7 possible reasons:

1. You ate salty food yesterday. Sodium causes the body to hold on to water, causing temporary weight gain. Keep drinking plenty of water and it will be gone in a few hours.
2. You ate too many carbs. Your body will have replenished its glycogen stores. For every gram of glycogen the body stores, it also stores 3 grams of water! Go back on plan and that glycogen and water will soon be gone.
3. You weighed in earlier than usual, so there's probably still some food left in your stomach.
4. You ate later than usual last night. See number 3.
5. You need to "go". This weight plays a huge role in body weight fluctuations. It's temporary and will sort itself out soon enough!
6. You had a tough workout yesterday. This can cause temporary water retention and will pass when you drink your 2.25l of water.
7. Ladies, it's coming up to that time of month. Mother Nature is often really mean to us around this time and our bods retain water.

So stop panicking! Unless you ate 9,000 calories yesterday, I can safely say you have nothing to worry about! Just stick to the plan and keep going!

Dieting is so much easier to stick to Monday to Friday, but when the weekend comes all structure goes out of the window, and with it, the diet!
So, how do you make sure your hard work during the week isn’t wasted at the weekend? 💪🏻
Here’s some tips to keep you on track…
What’s your motivation? 👙
This is one of the main reasons people fail on a diet – they start losing weight, get really excited and forget the reason that they started dieting in the first place. Once that happens, it’s much easier to make little mistakes: ‘I’ll just have one!’, ‘I’ll just take today off’, ‘I’ll get back on track next week’. Sound familiar?
It helps to write down your ‘WHY’ – what is the main reason you are losing weight?
Do you just want to be able to buy a pair of jeans from Topshop?
Do you want to be able to run around with your kids without getting out of breath?
Do you want to look amazing at the Christmas party this year?
Whatever your motivation, write it down and put it somewhere you will see it a lot (why not make it your screensaver on your phone?)!
If your ‘why’ is with you all the time you are less likely to fail!
Cheerleaders 🤸🏻‍♂️
Get your family and friends on board – you’ve probably already told them you are dieting and what your plan involves (if you haven’t then tell them!) but have you told them why?
Do they know what your goals are? Once they understand your reasons, they’ll be sure to cheer you on (and give you a nudge if you are wavering!)
Make plans 🗒
Don’t just let the weekend happen, make plans! Plan to go to the park for a walk with the kids, book a trip to the cinema with your friends, arrange to go to the shops with you mum, or just plan to have a pamper session on your own at home.
Whatever you choose, it really doesn’t matter, but just make sure you are doing something so that you don’t get bored... It’s often boredom that leads to eating, not hunger!
Simple changes 🥗
Weekends probably used to mean takeaways, going out for a meal with your friends or a big family meal at home on a Sunday.
Don’t worry, you can still enjoy your old life – you just have to make some simple changes.

Love desserts like we do? Indulge in this heavenly chocolate dessert with a coconut twist while staying on Plan.

🥣 Method:

1️⃣ Cut up half your Chocolate Chewy Bar into tiny pieces.

2️⃣ Make up half your Chocolate Shake, Coconut Water Flavouring and Mix-a-Mousse as per packet instructions.

3️⃣ Place half of your Chocolate Chewy Bar pieces into the bottom of your ramekin or small dish.

4️⃣ Pour half of your Mix-a-Mousse mix on top of the Chocolate Chewy Bar.

5️⃣ Repeat.

6️⃣ Sprinkle with a light dusting of cocoa powder.

7️⃣ Set in fridge for 15 minutes aaaaaaaand voila!
