I followed my passion to become a Health & Wellness Coach because let’s face it, nobody’s perfect. Often times I struggle right along with the rest - and right now is ONE💥OF💥THOSE💥TIMES💥!

I’m also not afraid to be transparent and to tell a client that just as I may be an inspiration to them, I am quite often inspired by them - this works both ways. 😎

So let’s talk about this. 🗣

➡️ MENOPAUSE ⬅️

Regardless of your level of activity, if you are age 40 - 60 (seems to coverage the “average” age range), this book is a must!

Although menopause is just a moment in time, the symptoms can start YEARS (🤦🏻‍♀️), sometimes several years, before that “moment”. I consider myself to be quite active and health conscious (but NOT perfect), yet listing my symptoms here seems daunting. Some that were expected because we’ve always heard about them (hot flashes/night sweats, constant mood changes, weight gain…), and others that I’ve had to look up (headaches, heart palpitations…), just to name a few! 🥵

This book is for ALL women, with its purpose being to bring menopause out of the shadows - it needs to be talked about.

So - cheers to the changes!

If you run - you are a runner. You don’t have to run a marathon to be considered a runner. (Although I have included a pic from my marathon in 2015 for attention 😉) In fact, running a 5K can seem pretty dang hard at times! I have never been a fast runner but at 53 I will continue to be proud each and every time I cross a finish line. So, always appreciate what your body is capable of doing and don’t be afraid to try new things. Age is just a number. 🏃🏻‍♀️💪🏻🏅(**Also included a pic to show that one of “us” is much more anxious than the other before a race! 🙄)

You guys - when I invested in Peloton in 2020 (thank you, Covid), I did it because I wanted to “try” spinning. I had NO idea how massive their platform really is! Since downloading the app in November 2020, I’ve done 1036 workouts. 1036! 🤯 I’m not bragging, I’m simply here to shout out that Peloton is SO MUCH more than just a bike or tread. Since March I’ve changed my focus to mostly strength training and will mix in cardio when I feel like it. I’ve done more stretching than I EVER have, I’m REALLY trying to embrace yoga, the opportunities are endless. That’s all. Happy Monday. ☀️ *steps down from soap box*

"I haven't gotten on a scale in five years. And when I go to the doctor, I weigh myself backwards — I look out. Sometimes I flat-out refuse. I don't want it to ruin my day," Couric revealed.

I have always been a fan of Katie Couric and other than knowing we were pregnant around the same time (twice, with girls, actually!), I never really knew we had so much else in common! My own experience(s) is what drove me towards finally pursuing my passion to become a Health and Wellness Coach; to help others to see that it IS possible to find a way to become and appreciate the absolute best version of one's self.

I, also, do not get on a scale. I refuse to get on at the doctor's office and if they insist (annual appointments, ugh...), I will stand backwards and ask that they do not "announce" the number. I have come a LONG way over the years and am satisfied where I am, but if I can eliminate a trigger, I WILL eliminate a trigger. I AM that person, try it, it's satisfying! 🙃

Ladies (and gentlemen...?) - THROW 👏🏻 IT👏🏻AWAY👏🏻! You are so much more than just a number on a scale.

My Story

I’m just a regular gal who’s been on a long journey learning how to love my body for what it’s capable of doing, not how it looks. I live a healthy/active lifestyle which includes daily Intermittent Fasting! I am SO passionate about this lifestyle and want to help others feel the same. Many people think Intermittent Fasting is for weight loss ONLY, it’s not; in fact, it’s considered the “health plan with a side effect of weight loss”! Not interested in IF but still interested in setting some realistic, sustainable wellness goals to carry you thru your lifetime? No problem, I can help you with that, too!

What works for me may not work for you, and what works for you may not work for someone else. I’m not perfect, nobody’s perfect. Let me help you find your way. Because YOU matter!
