Bloat! It's a crazy thing! You might think this is a picture from one of my 2 pregnancies, but it isn't 🤯

This is from May 2019! My stomach was flat that morning and then as the day went on, it swelled and swelled. It's embarrassing to share, but I've struggled with this for years. It's why I cut out gluten 12 years ago and dairy the last few years. It's hard to feel good about yourself when you look 6 months pregnant at the end of the day.

Even though this pic is from May 7 2019, I was struggling with bloating all the way up to 2020. The doctor said it was just my IBS and I had accepted that was just going to be how it was. Not only did my stomach swell, but my whole body was swollen. Then I started reading and learning about gut health. No matter how healthy I ate or exercised, years of antibiotics, heartburn meds and steroids had caused damage. It had caused bad bacteria that was reacting as inflammation in my body. The things that accompanied the bloat are as bad as dealing with the bloat.
