Hi I’m Ben Fox. In 2021 I wanted to raise money for charity in memory of my friend James, who lost his life to su***de.

I had just finished reading a book, where the protagonist, Joe Bishop, had his head shaved down the middle - a Nohawk.

During February 2021 we raised over £2000 for the charity Shout85258, a 24/7 text-based help line, all thanks to a NoHawk haircut https://giveusashout.org

Sadly in 2021 another friend, Nigel, also died from su***de. His death has inspired this next leg of NoHawk.

This year instead of a NoHawk I am now sporting a MoHawk and now how have some friends joining me. We are also supporting a different charity - Survivors of Bereavement by Su***de https://uksobs.org .

Last year it was for those suffering with suicidal ideation. This year it is for those that are left behind.

How can you help

1. Talk about su***de
Su***de is a cruel disease that is difficult to talk about.

2. Talk about su***de without talking

These shoes represent the 226 school children who lost their lives to su***de in 2017 - a pair for each school child.
It is so important that we support children with their mental, physical, emotional and spiritual health. We need to take this seriously.
