Pregnancy is hard enough, but being pregnant and realizing you're going to be doing it as a single parent is a very tough realization. I offer support throughout pregnancy, and can help you prepare yourself to be a parent, with or without a partner.

I was a single mom at 16. I didn't have any help from my child's father. I didn't have any supportive family. I was very alone and for many years I suffered through depression, just trying to learn how to be a mom. I was a single mom, for 11.5 years. I had 4 children in that time frame... all to which I had to raise on my own.

I say that to let you know, I am a person who's experienced the hardships of life and parenthood. Starting a very young and fragile age.. I had to learn. But you don't have to do this alone. As a doula, I am also a companion. I can be your best friend, your sister, your listening ear, your guide... I am here to help. Sometimes, all it takes is someone to show that they truly care that truly makes the difference.

Happy black history month!
As an advocate for black people, and growing up in a predominantly black environment, in a mixed race family... I understand, and can truly empathize with the hardships, biases, and challenges the black community faces. So many lives lost behind the color of their skin. So many people, still fighting for equality in a country that was never established to see them as equal to their white counterpart. But I believe, as Mrs. Rosa Parks once said, "You must NEVER be fearful about what you are doing, when it is RIGHT." So I will continue to fight and advocate for black women and birthing people, to have fairness, safety, and equality in birthing spaces. I will continue to educate, I will continue to be loud, and speak about the injustices that happen simply because of the color of your skin, I will NEVER back down. Because, it is the right and righteous thing to do.

An excess of gas, or colic in infants can be frustrating for parents, and painful for the baby. Make this herbal tea, steep for 10 minutes, and strain. Allow it to get to room temperature before giving to your baby.
1 tsp before every feeding
8 weeks and older
If you are feeding baby from the body, this tea can be drank 30 mins prior to feeding time and will be passed through the milk

Fertility can be a tough journey for many. But it's not only a physical journey, it's a spiritual journey. The womb is a portal of divine cosmic energy. And sometimes, it can be blockages in your spiritual health that is hindering you from receiving the blessing of conception.

Before I was doing birth work, I was a spiritual worker, helping to guide people of all walks of life and bringing insight, breaking curses, and healing souls.

Can you believe it's almost February!? That means I will be open to accepting birth clients. Here's my availability: (I will only accept homebirths at this time)

February- 2 availabilities
March- 1 availability
April- 2 availabilities
May- 2 availabilities

Postpartum clients are welcomed, I will take on clients as necessary depending on my schedule. I book postpartum clients in minimum 4 hour blocked schedules, $85.

Must be ok with having my newborn with me as I am a breastfeeding mom who is EBF.

I am a full-time breast feeding mom & birth doula. Yes, you can do both. Communication is key. Only service clients who understand your needs as well as you understand theirs. The relationship should be mutual. Never take on a client who cannot respect what you need to be able to do as a mother/parent, because your personal desires & families needs always come first. Motherhood/parenthood first.
