It's high time we focused on Pre verbal and pre school children. 1st eye check at 7 years of age is way too late !

Aims: To study the feasibility and challenges for early vision screening of the 0-6 yr preverbal/ preschool children in both urban and rural settings of India using the simple Red Reflex test.

Megan Webber, Co-Founder of Know The Glow, begins every Tuesday morning with a 6:30 a.m. Zoom meeting with the wonderful Dr. Himika Gupta and her team in Mumbai, India as they wind down their day at 8 pm.

Early in her residency, Dr. Gupta witnessed how many children with Retinoblastoma were made a low priority — even though there was much that could be done to treat their disease. This left an indelible mark on Dr. Gupta and impacted the direction of her life’s work and passion!
