This month, we held a series of sacred gathering of Black women and non-binary therapists, preachers, and theologians from across the Triangle to plant the seeds of Our Ancestors Garden (OAG) curriculum.
With the partnership of the National Convocation, we are co-creating an ecowomanist spiritual formation curriculum.
This will be a living resource for parents and caregivers desiring to raise children in traditions that are earth-honoring, liberatory, and rooted in Black ancestral wisdom.
Beyond curriculum, this will serve as a collective act of care and remembering. A declaration that our children deserve spiritual and wellness practices that honor all thier identities and affirm who they are and who they are becoming.
This is only the beginning. Stay tuned as the garden grows. 🌻
