It's Day One of the Lipedema Power Postures yoga challenge!!
We're starting off with the most basic of practices - deep breathing!
How To:
Find yourself in a comfortable seat, and place a hand on your belly or chest. Bring your awareness to your breath as you elongate the spine, drop the shoulders and relax the jaw. Take a deep, cleansing inhale in through the nose, filling your lungs and belly completely, and then sigh that breath fully out through the mouth. Notice your hand rising as your chest and belly expand on the inhale, and fall again as you exhale. Continue on in this way, breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth, for as long as you wish today.
