We are excited to share that our psychologist, Sebastian will be running LEGO®-Based Therapy Social Skills Groups during the upcoming September school holidays.

This program uses structured LEGO® play in a small-group setting to help children develop social and emotional skills. Each child takes on different roles (such as builder, engineer or supplier) and works with others on creative projects. Through this collaborative play, children practice communication, teamwork, problem-solving and emotional regulation in a fun and supportive environment.

LEGO® Club is especially beneficial for children who experience challenges with social interaction, anxiety, ADHD or autism, but is open to all children who may benefit from extra support with confidence, friendships and adaptability.

Program Dates & Times

Week 1: Monday 22nd September & Tuesday 23rd September, 3:00pm – 4:30pm

Week 2: Monday 29th September & Tuesday 30th September, 3:00pm – 4:30pm

Children can attend one or all sessions. Depending on numbers, groups may be separated into:

5–8 years
9–12 years

🌊✨ Take a moment to pause and remember the power of your breath!

When the world feels overwhelming, it’s essential to reconnect with the simple act of breathing. Inhale deeply, hold for a moment, and exhale slowly—just like the waves rolling in and out.

Visualizs the tide as it ebbs and flows, carrying away your worries with each retreat.

🌬️💙 Breathing is not only vital for our physical well-being, but it also plays a significant role in maintaining our mental health. When we focus on our breath, we create space for mindfulness, clarity, and calm.

So, let’s embrace this beautiful moment together! 🌈 Whether you’re at work, home, or even at the beach, take a brief break to breathe deeply. Allow your breath to wash over you like the waves, rejuvenating your mind and spirit. Remember, you are in control of your breath, and it can be a powerful tool to ground yourself in the present moment.

Today, Tobias visted our clinic! 🐾 He brought so much joy with his playful spirit. From the moment he arrived, it was clear that he was ready for a morning filled with affection and fun. We spent time playing with his favourite toys, which always lights up his eyes! The laughter and joy shared during our playtime are truly priceless.

In addition to play, we made sure Tobias received plenty of love and care. He enjoyed some gentle brushing that made his coat shine and feel soft. 🛁✨ Not only does grooming help him feel fresh, but it also strengthens the bond between us. After all that activity, he was treated to a delicious snack, which he relished. It’s heartwarming to see how happy these little things can make our furry friends.

Above all, the cuddles and pats are what truly make these visits special. 🤗 Remember, whether you have a pet or not, it's essential to nurture your mental health through love and connection.

At Tic Tac Toe, we firmly believe that hands-on learning is crucial in the development of young children. We encourage our little ones to engage in activities that allow them to explore their senses and creativity, such as playing with slime and getting messy! 😍

We understand that this can be challenging for parents, but we ensure to maintain a safe and supportive environment where children can learn and grow. Playing with slime not only stimulates their sense of touch but also enhances their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. 👀

Here's a snapshot of one of our little ones having loads of fun with slime made from scratch! 🙌🏼👦🏼

We believe that play-based learning is one of the most effective ways to encourage children to learn and develop. By providing them with a fun and engaging environment, we help them build a love for learning that will last a lifetime. 🎓

There are some fantastic slime recipes online, comment below with your favourite!

🌟 Happy Monday, lovely people! 🌟

We hope you had a restful weekend and are ready to tackle the new week ahead! We can often pour our hearts and souls into our work, family and friends. However, it's important to remember that we can't pour from an empty cup. Taking care of ourselves is just as important as taking care the important people in our lives.

✨ So, today we want to remind you to fill your cup! ✨ Take some time to do something that brings you joy. Maybe it's going for a walk in nature, reading a book, or trying out a new recipe. Whatever it is, make sure it's something that fills you up and leaves you feeling refreshed.

💧 And don't forget to drink water! Staying hydrated is crucial for our physical and mental wellbeing, and can help us stay energised throughout the day.

At the end of the day, prioritising our own self-care isn't selfish - it's necessary. By taking care of ourselves, we're better equipped to take care of others. So, let's make sure we're filling our cups regularly.

👉 Share with us in the comments: What's one thing you're doing today to fill your cup? Let's inspire each other 💕

No feeling is permanent. Just like the weather, emotions come and go in waves. Some days will be sunny and bright, while others will be stormy and dark. But just like a surfer navigating the waves, we too can learn to ride the wave of our emotions.

Practice self-compassion and remind ourselves that it's okay to feel what we feel. We don't have to judge ourselves or feel ashamed for our emotions. Instead, we can acknowledge them with kindness and curiosity. What is causing this feeling? What can I do to take care of myself right now? These are questions we can ask ourselves to help us navigate our emotions.

Remember, emotions are a natural part of being human. We don't have to fight them or suppress them. Instead, we can learn to accept them and ride them out. Whether we're feeling happy, sad, angry, or anxious, we can practice mindfulness and self-care to help us manage our emotions in a healthy way.

So the next time you're feeling overwhelmed or stressed out, just remember: this feeling is temporary. You are capable of riding the wave and coming out on the other side. 💪🌊

Have you heard the news? Inside Out 2 introduces new emotions to the mix! As fans of the first movie, we couldn't be more excited to see what these new characters will bring to the table.

As psychologists, we're especially interested in how this movie can help children better understand their emotions and improve their emotional intelligence. By bringing to life characters like Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, and Disgust, Inside Out has already done an incredible job of showing children that emotions are complex, and that it's okay to feel a range of emotions throughout the day.

We're hoping that these new emotions will help children further explore and understand their own emotional experiences. Maybe we'll see characters like Enthusiasm, Empathy, or Curiosity join the mix! Whatever the new emotions may be, we're excited to see how this movie will continue to promote positive psychology and emotional well-being for children and families alike.

So what do you think? Are you excited for Inside Out 2 and the possibility of new emotions? Let us know in the comments below! And don't forget to share this post with any other Inside Out fans you know! 🤗

💭🌱🧠

It's easy to get stuck in the idea that we're either born smart or not, but the truth is that intelligence is not fixed. Through effort, perseverance, and a willingness to learn, we can develop our minds and abilities in incredible ways. This is what we call a growth mindset.

For children and adults alike, developing a growth mindset can be an incredibly valuable tool for success. It means embracing mistakes and failures as opportunities to learn and grow, rather than sources of shame or discouragement. It means believing that our abilities can always be improved, and that challenges are opportunities to stretch ourselves.

Of course, developing a growth mindset isn't always easy. It takes practice and patience to rewire our thinking patterns and habits. But the benefits are truly worth it. Not only does a growth mindset help us achieve our goals, but it also leads to greater resilience, self-confidence, and happiness.

It's never too late to start developing a growth mindset. Take small steps every day to embrace challenges, learn from mistakes, and believe in your own potential. With time and practice, you'll be amazed at what you can achieve. 🌟
