So many people are struggling with managing their time efficiently when working from home.
So, for those of you who are feeling like time is slipping through your fingers day after day, here’s the truth: You don’t manage time; you manage your distractions and what you tolerate.
That’s it! Well, sort of…
Here are 3 tips to help you be more productive whether you are studying or working from home:
1. Enough mindless scrolling: We all love social media, and for many people it’s the only thing that help them stay connected with others, which is really great, and it’s also a powerful tool for business, but please use it smartly. Avoid starting your day checking your feeds and your emails, before you know it you have already spent 2 hours (if not more) attending to other people’s agenda.
2. Write it down: Take the time to write down what you want to achieve for the year, then break it down in 4 quarters, and then do a weekly plan. Every day you want to begin the day knowing exactly what you want to achieve. The key point here is to get crystal clear on what you want to achieve and write it down. Ink it rather than think it! By writing down your plans, desires, or things to do, you are freeing up space in your brain and are less likely to feel stressed, exhausted and drop the ball.
3. Know your Zone of Genius: Our natural genius cannot be read on a resume, nor is a measure of our intellect. Yet it is at the core of what gets us motivated and demotivated. It is at the core of our daily experiences. By knowing your natural genius, you quickly become aware of where you have hidden unutilized talent just waiting to be unlocked. To live in flow is to live fully, in the sweet spot of doing what you love, doing what you do best, and doing what is best to do. Everything unfolds with effortless ease.
Hope it helps
