𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐝

As many people may know I had the intention to continue my competition season and bring it home with the ICN Universe Comp in Seoul on the 28th May 2022.

However, I have had to make the decision - with the insight and support of my Husband and Coaches - to end my season here.

After a lot of ups and downs the implication of continuing prep for the time being posed too great a threat to both my mental & physical health.

The aim of competing for me was originally to push the boundaries of both the mental & physical extremes, then to come out okay. In the depths of prep I did find myself loosing sight of these lines I pushed and pushed beyond them.
�I have a tendency to be incredibly hard on myself and while I have accomplished all I set out to do in the beginning of my competition journey for this season. I still have deeply struggled with the choice to call it, to end my prep here and not feel truly disappointed in myself for not being strong enough to continue on.

But I equally know how badly I need to focus on rest, recovery and health for my greater wellbeing.

I’d love to soon elaborate further on my reasons why I started Bodybuilding, what I learnt through my journey and where I intend to go over the next few years. �
For now I am looking forward, so much, to travelling internationally for the first time in 2.5 years as we leave for Korea in 18 days where we will relax, train, work, eat and spend time together! 🇰🇷🍜👩🏻‍❤️‍👨🏻

If any of you have competed before you will know how hard a prep can be on any relationship and I truly value that now I can reconnect with my Husband in all the ways which took a backseat during prep.

Also looking forward to getting absolutely jacked too 😏💪🏽

Friday night I got to support you, cheer for you and watch you compete in the sport you love. Two weeks ago you were going the same for me as I stood on stage.

I am so excited to see how we continue to grow as a couple and as individuals with the others support over the next year, decade and life.
