Balanced diet
In this video I have talked about the importance of Balanced diet in our life. Often we tend to eat more carbohydrate rich food like Idly Dosa Pongal in morning. And we hear in many social media videos and all saying Rice is bad for health and all.
I would not agree to this. Even western health society doesn’t agree to this statement. They say our Indian diet is very healthy. But some of the very common mistakes that we do make others question the healthiness of out diet.
Our diet should contain
Approx.
• 60 to 75% carbohydrates
• 20 to 30% protein
• 10 to 15% fats
• 5% fibres
Ideally this makes the balanced diet. But in our day to day activities we tend to not follow this and eat just carbohydrate as one and only source of energy and we ignore other sources. Just because of this our diet is not fulfilled and this in future cause negative impact in our health. So I kindly request you all to follow the balanced diet as much as possible to be safe from health related issues.
In this video I have shared how to change a simple diet to balanced diet. Its just an example you can incorporate this technique in your day to day life to create a greater impact in your health.
