It's national athletic training month!

Hi everyone!
Sending out a post to share the news that I have officially resigned as Athletic Trainer at HUHS. I have poured my heart into my job at HUHS and have loved every single day that I had there. Over the years I have made HUHS and it’s athletes my priority, and I’m so happy I did. The last 6 1/2 years I have gained so many friends, made lots of memories, and had the chance to work with some pretty amazing athletes, or as I would call them “my kids”.
Although I love the community at HUHS and all of the people there, it is time for me to make a transition and make my family a priority. I have explored other options in the Athletic Training world that will give me more time at home to be with this little babe and my husband. I’m so extremely sad to be leaving my HUHS family, but am excited to see what the future holds.
Thank you to all my kids, AD, coaches, parents, staff and coworkers for giving me some of the best years. I am beyond blessed to have started my career at HUHS. I’m sad to be leaving but also very excited to see what the future holds. I will miss you all!! 🧡🖤

Do we have a Golden Tape Award? Do we time each other to see who can tape an ankle the fastest? Are we the coolest club ever? You betcha!!
We had a few records broken today!!!

HUHS Athletic Training Student Alaina Brown broke the record that Nicole Weber set back in the day! Congrats Alaina on the record speed of 38.42 seconds!

We also had our first college student step up to the plate! Congrats to Ms. Meyer on the time of 36.57 seconds!

It’s been a year, but we made it!! 🙌🏼
Thank you to each and every one of these students for all their help this year! We are so proud of all the accomplishments you have made. Have a great summer!

And to our seniors... yes, we will forever have this photo hung up in the office. Black mismatched picture frame and all!

These seniors are graduating next week!! I couldn’t be more proud of these kids. Their hard work and dedication never ceases to amaze me. Over the past 4 years these 3 have been nothing but smiles and the biggest help. We will miss them so much, but know that they will excel in everything they do!! So proud of you all and I am so lucky to have had the chance to get to know each of you over the course of your high school career!!

Check it out! It’s our newest student Rylee Anderson! Rylee started the program last month and she is already doing amazing!! We can’t wait to see everything she learns the next few years!
