I will have some vinegars that are made with a white balsamic at the Lawrence farmers market on Saturday.
This is the last of the peach ginger vinegar. But I will have the pear thyme and Tulsi vinegars Saturday and probably one more Saturday before they are gone.
All the vinegars I am infusing are small batch often using seasonal items.
Soon to come is Tomato basil vinegar and Rosemary garlic😊

I am having so much fun creating different seasonal vinegars. So here goes tomato vinegar with basil & garlic in a white balsamic vinegar. It will be ready in few weeks. It can be used in so many ways!
Add it to a bloody mary, dress a caprese salad, deglaze with it after cooking white meat and make a pan sauce. Or how about drizzle over roasted veggies, dress a pasta salad, make a bread dip by combining with olive oil.
I will have a list at my table with all the things you can do with this new vinegar.

So it's back to school and the weather is changing. Cold and flu season along with allergies has begun.
Did you know it's best to take elderberry before you feel sick? Elderberry is a strong immune stimulant and helps your body mount a quick, strong response. It is known to shorten the duration of cold and flu when taken after getting ill. But is so much more effective taken before experiencing symptoms. Elderberry is supportive year round for immune health. Including inflammation, allergies, and general resistance.

I make so many different salves and balms. What I hope you know is that it isn't just beeswax with essential oils

My products have actual herbs infused in oils and are finished with high quality beeswax.

I put my lip balm in tins because it's recyclable and reusable. If you finish yours and want more I can refill it. I know sometimes you want a tube, but I am trying to avoid plastic. The cardboard tubes are so expensive and if they get hot will leak. I put a lot of thought, love and information into what I make.

Time for harvesting passionflower! This crazy beautiful flower has so many wonderful benefits. I am making a tincture of the flowers and also use in my sleep aid blend.
This wonderful plant is great for those that feel wired and tired. Come see me at the Lawrence farmers market this Saturday from 7:30am- 11:30

New Adventures

So today I am finally moving my herbal adventures forward. With fear and excitement I am proceeding with a new journey in my herbal passion. I am starting this page and have a wonderful woman friend who is helping organize my website.

I will be sharing my love/passion of making and using products from the wonderful world of plants. Like Alice in Wonderland I have gone down the rabbit hole. I am immersed in a world of marvels and wonders brought by the plant people.
