Story
"Takkan Melayu Hilang di Dunia" meaning "Never shall the Malay(s) vanish from the earth"
One of the greatest heroes of the Malaccan sultanate is the Silat master and champion Hang Tuah.
The son of a woodcutter; Hang Tuah and his friends Hang Kasturi, Hang J***t, Hang Lekir and Hang Lekiu trained under the training of master Adi Putera; a hermit the forest.
Kampung Bendahara was attacked by some bandits. The bendahara (chief minister) of the sultan Tun perak came to investigate and was attacked by the bandits. Hang Tuah and his friends charged courageously and saved Tun Perak. Impressed by Hang Tuah’s courage, the heroes were introduced to the sultan.
Hang Tuah arose through the ranks and soon he was the most trusted warrior in the sultan’s court. One visit to the Indonesian kingdom of Majapahit, Hang Tuah was pit against a famed pendekar Taming Seri. Seven days and seven nights; the two warriors fought and in the end, Hang Tuah emerged victorious. He was given a magical Kris which Hang Tuah named as the Taming Sari. The Kris Taming Sari was suppose to be magical and gave the owner near invulnerability.
Many corrupt officials were jealous of Hang Tuah’s fame. They spread rumours that Hang Tuah had romantic encounters with the wives of the Sultan. Angered by the rumours the Sultan ordered for Hang Tuah to be executed. Tun Perak hid Hang Tuah and arranged for news that Hang Tuah was slain.
Hang J***t was then passed the Taming Sari. He was angered by the stupidity of the Sultan and the unfairness of the fate of his best friend. He charged into the malacca palace and killed anyone who tried to restrain him and was about to kill the sultan, but the sultan managed to escape.
Tun Perak revealed the truth to the Sultan that he did not kill Hang Tuah. The sultan agreed to pardon Hang Tuah and requested for the warrior to fight his friend.
After many days of fight, Hang J***t drops the Taming Sari and was killed by Hang Tuah.
Defeated by his best friend, Hang J***t exclaims. "Raja adil raja disembah, raja zalim raja disanggah" meaning "A fair king is a king saluted, a tyrant king is a king disputed."
The five of swords shows the defeat of Hang J***t by Hang Tuah. The background is the palace of the Malaccan Sultanate. Behind the fight scene; you see the sultan with strings of the puppeteer and controlling both Hang Tuah and Hang J***t of the fight.
The starburst and the crescent moon shows the country in the future which is that of Malaysia.
The crossing kris is in the color of one dark and one light. The hilts shows that of the garuda and that of the naga. The Garuda is the greatest birds of the sky and their mortal enemies are the Naga or dragon serpents of the sea. This shows the conflict of being good and obedient of rebellious and evil
