So school's out for Summer & I thought what better way to celebrate than give all my fellow superhero parents a quick tool for when you need a quick breather ;) from any form of madness.

Box breathing aka square breathing is all about resetting your breath.

You can use this breathing technique to re-centre yourself and improve concentration.

This technique has been reportedly used by those in the armed forces when in fight or flight mode & could help you.

As you may know, I’m big on whole food eating...

So when clients & friends ask me about protein - I'm always keen to ditch the bars/ packs & powders for the real stuff where possible.

I'm not saying never to use them (actually good quality products in these ranges can be an amazing aid to hit daily protein targets SOMETIMES) but the key is not to become reliant on them!

Do you believe in the healing powers of food?

MediFood® by Fai is based on the belief that food can act as a preventative as well as a corrective form of medicine for some.

I've held this philosophy since some of my earliest memories, whether it was making face-masks from things I found in the kitchen during my teens, supporting my dad through his illness or looking for energy in those early days with my bambinos.

Life can throw curveballs when you least expect but eating nutritious food not only helps feed your body - it nourishes your soul when you need it most!
