My name is Marquetta, I am a master's prepared registered nurse with over a decade of experience in the mental health field.

I aim to bring more awareness to a heavily stigmatized topic and help individuals, especially healthcare workers, become more comfortable discussing and improving their mental health.

I believe in leading with HEART💚 (Honesty, Engagement, Attitude {positive}, Respect, and Teamwork).

On my journey to become a life, executive, and organizational development coach, I am also learning more about podcasting.

“Don't Psych Yourself Out” Podcast launched in July 2022. I’m looking to broaden my network, learn more and impact the mental health community.

As a continued learner, I want to not only share my experiences but also learn from you and grow together.

Don’t Psych Yourself Out focuses on healthcare workers improving and discussing their mental health.

I know I won’t get this right the first time, but I’m not chasing perfection. I aim to coach/mentor women like myself in reaching their nursing leadership goals.

Only 10% of Chief Nursing Officer positions are held by black women, with the average age being 46.

Fact:
I fall into that 10% and will join the coaching world to get more women like me in leadership roles. I look forward to becoming a better leader because of you.
