At her age I was the picture of health, but once I reached my mid 40’s my body changed and I developed a thyroid condition and I just let it win by taking the pills and succumbing to my fate of being fat. I gained a lot of weight (50lbs to be exact), no longer had the desire to workout and eventually I developed high cholesterol on top of it.
Now in my early 50’s, I see Amanda so fit and healthy, posting photos of all the awesome healthy meals she’s making, telling me about all cool workout programs she is doing and watching her accomplish huge challenges like the Spartan Beast.
