This week has been deeply transforming full of abundant nourishment ✨

I was part of a great call on Monday (thank you LIA MER) about the integration of the monthly cycle in work life - a great opportunity, especially as I was bleeding. One of the sisters reminded me of one of the most sacred truths of the feminine:

The effect of our work is not determined by the effort we put in. Nature needs time to rest - just like winter. What seems like stillness is a deep recalibration... The effect of our work is more often than not determined by our wisdom to work with the intelligence of nature.

Worthwhile to remember this truth once again ♾

On Wednesday my friend Sabine Satya gifted me with a deep Theta Healing session - it turned out as a powerful opportunity to open up and connect to the support of my ancestors.

My grandmother showed up most of all whose existence obviously left a deep imprint on my being (in my DNA as well as on all other levels) - her death from a horrible disease made me familiar with suffering, self blame and powerlessness early on in my life. It has been deeply transforming to forgive and re-align with this experience. Healing is real.

She now shows up as a guide in my life and supports me in receiving unconditional love, opening the doors to the inner knowing of the divine. Ananda ☀️ Eternal sunshine. Reminding me how all those experiences can serve as gateways.

The full moon now sends its silent invitation to let go 🌝 always in time.

Feel free to flow with Chandra Namaskara in order to honor our physical bodies as well as the wisdom of nature all around us.

Thank you life.

How beautiful and painful a heart opening can be. Sweet and scary at the same time.

🦋

Creating heart-mind coherence is a key element of my embodiment practice. It’s rewarding to witness how much easier it is becoming since releasing trauma from my physical system.

When I started my yoga practice, especially during pranayama, I could feel a dense, tight sensation in my chest. Felt like the activated Prana was hitting against a strong resistance which had silently numbed my heart centre for the longest time.

Only years later I learned that chest tightness is a very common symptom of depression. The beauty of those symptoms is their inherent wisdom which can guide us on the path. Sometimes ruthlessly inviting us to sweep away the aspects within us which chose to resist love.

🌊

Sitting in ceremony I experienced painful and simultaneously deeply heart opening moments - often culminating in a sweet spot of ecstasy which I would describe as a heartgasm. An intense state of aliveness, which reactivated my ability to feel the physical and energetic sensations in my chest. A rewiring of the nervous system which lays the foundation of transformation and healing.

🌀

It’s through our hearts that we are connected to the entirety of the cosmos in a very direct way. A solid channel for a timeless ancient wisdom, which reminds me of the interconnectedness of all things. The most potent guru slumbering within our own chests.

May I choose to tune into its intelligence more and more frequently until I unlearn any other way.

Always say yes to the present moment. What could be more futile, more insane, than to create inner resistance to what already is? What could be more insane than oppose life itself, which is now and always now? Surrender to what is. Say yes to life - and see how life suddenly starts working for you rather than against you.

A call for healing.

I had beautiful revelations at two Shivananda Vedanta Centers back in 2012. They absolutely transformed my life so I could match up a totally different life trajectory. I have taught several teacher trainings inspired by the wisdom of this tradition and have been willing to dedicate my life to walking the path of yoga.

Because of my own deep connection to the Shivananda tradition, diving into the work of Uma Dinsmore-Tuli leaves me shattered.

Yesterday while sharing space with a close friend, I could sense that I am entering a period of shadow work and deep cleansing. The full moon energies and my transition into a new year of my life with all this Aquarian vibes around. I expected processing and re-integrating aspects of my inner child who kept on mourning for my attention recently.

But as we know life always likes to unfold into the unknown and our little rational minds often fall short in predicting the future. My intuition guided me to open Yoni Shakti, which I received a few months ago. I was expecting some practical insights for my current sadhana. And found myself totally overwhelmed by a confrontation I was shying away from for years.

Please let’s remind each other to educate ourselves on the horrible abuse that remains to happen in the name of yogic traditions. Let’s stand together, having our backs to gather the bravery and strength that is needed to stay true to the wisdom of our intuitive guidance. Unlearning the old, harmful ways that intoxicated cultures and civilizations for centuries.

Apparently the path of yoga, which always and forever will remain a path of liberation, has been asking us loudly to shed layers of toxic patterns. I am incredibly sorry for being so late in receiving this call. May I find the strength and wisdom embrace my ignorance and unlearn the old ways.

I feel as though I have lived many lives, experienced the heights and depths of each and like the waves of the ocean, never known rest.

Throughout the years, I looked always for the unusual, for the wonderful, for the mysteries of the heart of life.

May we always find ways to stay connected to our inherent power within all those storms ahead.

Taking responsibility of our own energy is the common denominator that brings yoga, psychotherapy and shamanism together.

Whatever comes up in my life, I trust that I can deal with it in the most beautiful way accessible to me. While I often cannot control the circumstances of life, I know I meet my power in the eye of the tornado.

The way we navigate through this reality will always and forever be bound to our way of dealing with the occurrences of the external world. If we empower ourselves to remain in charge of our own energy when the going gets tough, we are doing our job.

If you have come here to help me, you are wasting your time. But if you have come because your liberation is bound up with mine, then let us work together.

Clearly recognizing what is happening inside us, and regarding what we see with an open, kind and loving heart, is what I call Radical Acceptance.

If we are holding back from any part of our experience, if our heart shuts out any part of who we are and what we feel, we are fueling the fears and feelings of separation that sustain the trance of unworthiness.

Radical Acceptance directly dismantles the very foundations of this trance.

The Vedic teachings are one of the most fascinating scriptures of human kind.

The have been written down 5000 years ago, but according to the teachings the content is as old as existence itself.

The work is so extensive that it is almost impossible to study it intellectually within one lifetime. Plus it’s written in Sanskrit which doesn’t make it any easier as this ancient language is extinct and quite complicated to put it mildly.

However, we can access the Vedas and they are best digested in bite size chunks. So here is a little chunk on offer in case you are interested or wish for a little reminder. Obviously, this is only of philosophical perspective and is not intended to be stated as the ultimate truth, however it might contain some valuable insights.

The Vedas assume that there is a God or a Source energy from which our entire existence arises. This energy fragments itself into unlimited aspects and all of them are almighty.

On earth we often refer to God as the Creator. That is a very limited perspective. ALL beings in existence are creators according to the scriptures - ALL of them are almighty as they carry the seed of source.

Everything is an aspect of source energy or God or Krishna (this is one name of God used in the scriptures). Hence, everything carries the potential of the whole. Within nature philosophy and shamanism, every aspect of the universe is animated - every stone, leaf, tree, bird and so forth. This is an example for the underlying perception of creation that we are all creators as well as creation itself.

However, not every individual fragment is responsible for everything obviously. We all have our own little jobs within the wider context of creation. My self expression as a human might be very different than the self expression of a stone. While, on another level of perception, we are one and the same.

Krishna is able to expand himself endlessly, but creation is not his only job. He is apparently also quite busy enjoying himself together with his feminine aspect Radharani from an limitless abundance of possibilities. All a little more intense and fulfilling that what is experienced within the denser dimensions. Physics and mathematics are able to proof the existence of several parallel dimensions. According to new age philosophy we are currently shifting from the third dimension to the fifth, but that would exceed this little piece of writing.

The Vedas assume Krishna to exist outside all these dimensions, in a non-materialistic, non-dual sphere beyond time and space. The space beyond of duality from which everything arises. Eternity, unity, the root of source and all that is ♾

I hope we all digest this well.

One of the main characteristics of our western culture is our greed.

It is such an integral part of our conditioning that we exceedingly ignore the limits of common sense, health and natural balance.

How come we allow greed to define our civilization?

Makhosi Hefisah Nejeser shares an interesting point of view in her podcast interview with James Wedmore. From her perspective, the root cause for racism is envy and jealousy, both emotions are consequences of perceived lack. She traces it back to the harsh living circumstances within colder climates compared to the lush and richness of other areas on this globe - those of which have been exploited the most.

Lack mentality is the driving force behind our greed. The idea that there just won’t be enough for all of us. This is apparently a form of collective childhood trauma that is still haunting us.

Several studies compare childcare of rather peaceful indigenous tribes to western standards. The abundance of physical contact and presence which is possible within smaller family tribes seems to contribute greatly in raising rather satisfied children. The constant chase of satisfaction in sensory stimulation which haunts many of us our whole lives are relatively unknown.

It is beneficial to reflect on our own cultural and personal habits. Often understanding the patterns of or own behaviors is a first step for change.

Often spirituality has been used to support power structures of capitalism and patriarchy. No surprise so many of us face resistance towards it.

History of human kind is actually more related to our very personal life experiences than we are often aware of. Working with past life regression has taught me this lesson. Countless unbelievably cruel events have happened and continue to happen because of faith in a God that was invented to restrict and manipulate our human minds. With past life regression, some of those historic occurrences morphed into experiences that seem more vivid and personal than stories from books or documentaries.

Currently, the sell out mentality and toxic positivity of many modern new age businesses irritate many people. We are all spiritual now, in our very own unique way that is very fashionable and probably makes us a millionaire. Just make the divine forces servant of your ego. Call it empowerment and fake it till you make it.

But with all those reasons to be doubtful, let’s not dismiss the power of our faith ✨ it is one of the most beautiful endeavors to cultivate a relationship to the divine forces that never have stopped being the foundation of our reality. Life itself is a miracle.

„Don't avoid the pain. You need it. It's meant for you. Be still with it, let it come, let it go, let it leave you wtih the fuel you'll burn to get your work done on this earth“. ~ Glennon Doyle

Her words are still all around me. Just finished reading Untamed today and it feels like coming home to a knowledge that is too easily forgotten.

We are trained from childhood on to trust others more than ourselves. To adjust into little boxes that have never been made for us. Afraid of pain, we keep ourselves trapped in there way too long to stay healthy.

Never dismiss the voice of your own soul, your inner knowing, your guidance, your intuition or however you want to call it.

Let’s allow ourselves to live the wild and messy lives evolving from our hearts. Embracing all the failures. All the losses. And when there is nothing left because we lost it all, we are back home in our purest state.

Thank you for inspiring me to participate in the challenge.
