💫 What does the word selfcare mean to you? 💫
For me it’s the act of looking after my self and my own happiness so that I can serve my clients at a higher level
It is something I do deliberately, on purpose, I plan it in!
It helps me to improve my mood, reduce my anxiety, helps me avoid burnout and generally maintain good mental health
How does it look? It’s different every day! Sometimes it’s extra sleep, sometimes it’s a hard therapy session and lots of tears, sometimes it’s a cuddle or a hot chocolate, sometimes it’s time off social media, sometimes it’s me doing a weird tik tok video..... for all those that have seen it.... you’re welcome 🤣
Anyway my point is, no matter what anyone says about self care it’s what it means to you, what does it look like TO YOU!!!!! It can change, evolve and morph but ultimately it’s for you, so you decide
I made a list of all my self care habits, anything that makes me feel better, or more energised, or I know make me feel that “shoulder drop relief” when I’ve done it☺️💕 I call this my little pick and mix.... just because I love sweets 🍬 and I pick and Mix these practices into my day and week depending on how I feel, what feels good how much time I have ☺️💕
