Every year, Purple Heart Day is observed to honor and remember the brave current and former service members who were wounded or killed in action while serving in the U.S. Armed Forces.

We want to thank Mr. Corbin, one of our residents recognized this week for his sacrifice in action. 💜

The day commemorates the creation of the oldest American military decoration for military merit, the Purple Heart, established by George Washington The Purple Heart Foundation

We are happy to announce that we just received a donation from the owners and operators of Sneade's Ace Home Center, Inc. (Ben Banyasz & Dana Sneade Banyasz) in the amount of $8,000.00 for the residents of Charlotte Hall Veterans Home. These proceeds were generated from their local round-up efforts in May of this year at all four store locations in Southern Maryland (Charlotte Hall, Owings, Lusby & Leonardtown).

Once AGAIN, We are thankful for this partnership and for all of their staff and customers who took the time to participate. Our residents are all truly grateful to be able to receive such amazing support!
