💪 How to Get More Protein in Your Oatmeal?
Boost your breakfast bowl with this protein-packed combo that gets you to 20g of protein—no powders needed!
✨ Here's what I add to my steel cut oats:
🥄 2 tbsp chopped almonds
🥄 2 tbsp chopped walnuts
🥄 2 tbsp pumpkin seeds
🥄 2 tbsp sunflower seeds
🥄 1 tbsp h**p seeds
🥄 2 tsp coconut oil
🥄 1 tbsp unsweetened shredded coconut
🥄 2 tsp maple syrup
🍎 2–4 tbsp fruit (here I used caramelized apples 😋)
💥 Why protein at breakfast?
It helps regulate blood sugar, keeps you full longer, and gives you sustained energy—no mid-morning crashes!

Feeling all the feels this week and just exhausted? 😩 Yoga has been my reset button.

Following up on my last post about cultivating habits, here’s an example of a SMART goal I’m working on: Having more fun! 🎉

💬 Specific: Social time with my friends
🔢 Measurable: Two social engagements per week
🕒 Achievable: Fits with my busy schedule
💖 Relevant: I not only have fun but also connect with others
📆 Time-bound: Schedule two social engagements next week

"Instead of Resolutions, Cultivate New Habits 🌱

This year, let’s break free from the cycle of resolutions that fizzle out. Instead, focus on cultivating new habits—small, sustainable changes that grow over time.

Take it slow. If you’ve never practiced yoga on your own and feel unsure where to start, just pick three poses and give them a try. Guess what? That’s a practice! It’s all about showing up and being consistent. Maybe that’s once a week or three times a week, decide on a goal that is doable for yourself then progress from there.

Here are a few new habits I’m working on this year. I’ll share more about my progress next week—stay tuned! Oh and I’m pretty sure Lily added that last habit on my list.

Let’s make 2025 the year of lasting growth and transformation! 💪✨

Happy Belated New Year from Me, Lily & Jasmine!

It’s a brand new year, but some things never change—my cats are already back in their favorite cozy spot by the bathroom heater. 🐱🔥 They’ve perfected the art of starting the year off right with some serious relaxation!

I started 2025 with a bit of a cold bug, but after some rest and self-care, I’m feeling more focused and grounded. Ready to embrace all the new opportunities this year has to offer!

Wishing everyone a year full of warmth, wellness, and new beginnings. Let’s make 2025 our best year yet! 💫

The best gift I received this year? ❤️

My dear friend’s baby made an early entrance, arriving two weeks ahead of schedule! As a single parent, she had planned everything meticulously, including her mom flying in from overseas to help. But life had other plans, and she needed a Plan B—fast. She gave me the gift of being there to meet her newborn and help bring the baby home. Holding a tiny one just over a day old was incredible, but the true gift was being able to support my friend in such a special moment. 💕

Special mention: Every year, my nephew spends hours creating Christmas cards, and they get better and better. I’m so proud of his artistic abilities! 🎨🌟

Last but not least: Lily showing off her best Christmas gift—a new box! And yes, she’s also obsessed with parsley sprigs. 🐾🎁

It’s been a few years since I’ve baked holiday cookies. Honestly partly because it’s quite a bit of work and I’m lazy when it comes to being in the kitchen but this year I decided life’s too short not to eat (and share, yes I did share) holiday cookies.
