What a creative, easy, and festive way to do a possibly dreaded chore “Meal Plan”.
You may love it or hate it, but I have found it to be a HUGE factor to weekly success.
Not only does it help me with my #healthgoals, but it also helps me save $$$ by not Door Dashing (I assume we have now make that a verb). AND…it makes thinking of ideas or searching recipes on Pinterest EASY AF because that can be overwhelming itself!

By COOKING METHOD: Crockpot Night, InstantPot Night, One Pan Meal, Sheet Pan Meal, Grill, Leftovers
By INGREDIENT: Chicken Night, Seafood Night, Meatless Night, Ground Turkey, Burger Night, Pizza Night (yes, pizza is an ingredient LOL)

What I wanted to say was “Today’s workout sucked.” But my at home trainer @autumncalabrese reminded us of word choice. So, let me try that again.
Today’s workout was 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐆.
You learn MORE when things challenge you rather than taking the easy/comfortable way.
Today, I learned that I can’t workout in “starved state” and do my best. So, I should have taken the extra time to have my preworkout meal. I won’t make that mistake again.
Now, off to analyze some reporting at work. I guess I can take my fitness lessons to my work life also. #reportingsucks #reportingischallenging

Don’t focus on the negative (unless it’s an exercise move 💪🏽)!
It’s way too easy to get caught up in the negative right now. With the political climates, being on lockdown, feeling inadequate as a parent or spouse or employee, or feeling unhappy in your own skin, it’s easy to go down that negative path! I have done it too 🙋🏽♀️!
But it’s time to GET OUT and put on those positive pants 👖!
✨ Start a gratitude journal! You don’t need a full journal, even strikt down one thing you’re grateful for can turn that frown upside down!
✨ Do something nice for yourself. Self care isn’t always about face masks 🧖♀️. It can be anything that is nice! My friend suggested that I buy myself some flowers 💐! I think I will do that!
✨Try something new—a new recipe, a new activity, a new makeup look.
✨Talk it out! Keeping it bottled up inside isn’t going to work. Find your buddies and vent, scream, cry, laugh, and love on each other! I found mine and I couldn’t do this without them 💕

While I normally don’t measure when I create my dishes, I measured this time!
It only took me 15-20 minutes to make this dish!

I love tough workouts because it helps me release any tension and stress and allows me to start my day serving me first 💪🏽💁🏽♀️
I didn’t start off being able to do tough workouts.
I still sometimes need extra rest days than the program allows but who the hell cares!
I took an extra rest day yesterday and killed it today!

Have you ever thought of having your veggies be your vessel 🥬🥒 🤔
Often times, we pick up a chip, a tortilla, bread to dip our food in or put our food on to eat. Make an easy, low carb, and healthy swap by using veggies as your vessel to dip or put your food in.
Last night, I made Asian lettuce cups with butter lettuce leaves. You could also use the lettuce leaves to eat your tacos!

🚨 It’s about 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐆𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐒 not PERFECTION🚨
When I started doing Beachbody programs 3 years ago, I was NOT able to do a single burpee let along a single arm burpee. Especially after breaking my wrist a in the middle of it!
I’m not saying it’ll take you 3 years to see progress, but it does take showing up. Heck it took me 17 days to see a difference in photos when I first started! 17 DAYS!!!
How you see progress is CONSISTENCY! Keep showing up. Keep doing the work. Fall down? Get back up! Eat something bad? Eat something good. You just have to do the work and it WILL pay off!
