A big congratulations goes out to WPFFA Local 2036 members Tom Atkinson-Graham and Misha Maric on achieving 3rd place in the Mixed Tech 2 Division at the Oshawa Regional FireFit Championships August 10/11. Tom and Misha achieved a time of 1:47!

Congratulations to all the competitors who stepped out on the course in pursuit of their own first responder health and fitness goals! 🥇🥇 🥉 🥉 And we are off and running! First FireFit event of 2023 - St Catherine’s Regional! The Whitby Professional Firefighters Local 2036 Team came home with Women’s Team Gold for combined individual race times (Misha Maric, Stephanie Canfield, Shawna Coulter) Women’s Relay Division Gold (Maric, Canfield, Coulter) and a Bronze in Women’s Tech2 for Maric and Canfield and an overall women’s Bronze in Individual for Maric!

Congratulations to every amazing competitor who chose to step out to that start line this weekend!

We are so happy to say our team were amongst 40 women who ran Individual races on Saturday.. the MOST female entries in Canadian regional event history. 🔥 This is amazing news for the sport and the career of firefighting! Let’s encourage even more!
