My morning run. What's different? Ive been running 🏃 for years and thought I will try something new as I dive deeper and deeper into the wild world of Breathwork.
I am on my second Breathwork course and this one focusses on Sport & Performance. I love being the guinea pig. So what is different about my recent runs is that I have slowed right down and run about 80% of the run only breathing through my nose 👃. I know why???
Improved O2 Efficiency- improves O2 uptake & CO2 exchange 👍
Better Endurance over time- conserves energy and delays fatigue 👍
Enhances Nitric Oxide Production- dilates blood vessels and improves circulation and O2 delivery to muscles
Lower Heart Rate ❤️
Reduced Stress Response - YES please 🙏 in my Midlife 👍

What a weekend!
Athletes doing what they love, pushing limits, and soaking up the energy of a crowd that never stopped cheering. 🔥💪
You don’t need to do a Half Ironman to feel the buzz. Just find something you enjoy—and make it a little challenging.
My biggest fear? The swim.
My biggest surprise? I LOVED the swim. 🏊‍♀️
Most inspiring moment? Watching the “older” athletes crushing it. Age is relative—50 used to feel old. Now that I’m almost there, I see it differently. Strong. Capable. Fired up.
Tips if you’re TRI-curious:
✔️ Spare goggles (cheers, Jude!)
✔️ Dress for a cold, wet ride (sleeves, thanks Gareth!)
✔️ Check your gear twice—yes, even your shoes & earplugs, that was close 😅
Grateful for a healthy body, a strong mindset, and zero injuries. Bring on the next challenge. 💥

The DUTCH Test = Dried Urine Test for Comprehensive Hormones. The most detailed Hormone test we can get.
Measures it all including cortisol spikes.
I ordered from Regenerus Labs & have someone lined up to help me sort this s**t out once I know where things are out of whack!!!
If we don’t measure…we are guessing!!!
