Wild Women Win ❤️‍🔥

Yesterday was one of those days that reminded me just how unstoppable I am when I trust myself. I had the honor of curating my friend’s brunch with MY collection ( ) into a soulful, visual experience. I showed up as everything I’ve been becoming: creative director, art curator , art dealer, baby florist, stylist, photographer, and visionary.

From designing a photo backdrop that brought folks together, to seeing everyone’s joy as they stepped into something I dreamed up — I felt it all. I let my creative energy run free, and it was pure magic.

I’m so proud of me.

This was alignment, not accident.
When you bet on yourself and create from authenticity, can’t nobody tell you sh*t.

Here’s to wild women who trust themselves , their intuition, and their evolution.

Because when we win… it’s not luck, it’s purpose.

The more I heal, the finer I get 🫴🏽

Just like that.

This picture was captured at where I was once again challenging myself professionally — stepping into new spaces that stretch me in all the best ways. But honestly, it doesn’t feel like hard work when you’re doing what you love. 💫

I’m just grateful to be returning to myself through art — my first love, my therapy, my reminder that healing and creativity can coexist. 🎨

This season, I’m learning that healing isn’t only about letting go — it’s about allowing in: joy, courage, softness, and new beginnings. The internal work is finally showing up on the outside, and I’m thankful for every part of that process. 🌻

Art is therapy!!

Selling vintage art has been more than just a creative outlet for me, it’s been therapeutic. As a therapist, I deeply believe that art belongs in our healing spaces. Art tells our stories, reflects our culture, and helps us connect to parts of ourselves that words alone sometimes can’t reach.

Over the past few months, I’ve been curating gorgeous pieces that highlight our history, resilience, and range of expression. Each piece carries its own story, and it’s such a gift to bring these narratives into the therapeutic and cultural space.

This Sunday, I’ll be showcasing my collection and the best part? It’s completely FREE! 🎉 This is more than an art show; it’s a chance to connect, celebrate culture, and explore how creativity, humanitarian, gestures and healing intersect.

This is us …Growing. Leaning. Loving into one another.

People don’t always know that our relationship has mostly been long distance. But what I’ve learned is that love grows everywhere. It grows with every intentional seed we plant for one another. We stand as women for each other… always learning and returning to love.

I love how your energy influences any room – how big it is, how soft it is, how true it is. Your beautiful smile, your giving nature, your resilience in overcoming every challenge placed in front of you… it moves me deeply.

Thank you for choosing me again this year to facilitate The Black Woman’s Exhale Retreat – your baby, your vision for healing, and your mission to help Black women reclaim themselves. Thank you for trusting me to execute your purpose with intention and care.

Some days I look like what I’ve been through

— messy hair, tired eyes, and a heart that’s been doing a lot of heavy lifting.

Other days, I show up polished, glowing, and grounded. And the truth is… both are me.

This is what balance looks like in real life.

I’m still finding my voice—learning when to speak, how to speak, and why my voice matters. I’m unlearning silence and reclaiming my power one boundary at a time.

Grace has become a daily practice. Some days I extend it, other days I need it. I’m trying to hold space for both.

This is me. A therapist. A mother. A Black woman. A human.
Still healing. Still growing. Still showing up.

TOMORROW, I’ll be sharing my personal story live in Columbia, Maryland.

I’ve partnered with Connecting the Dots, LLC for a FREE in-person community event where I’ll speak openly about how mental health has impacted not just me, but my immediate family — because the truth is, mental health challenges rarely stay isolated. They ripple through our households, our relationships, and our legacy.

We’ll be digging into:
• The emotional labor that often goes unseen in families
• How unaddressed mental health affects our parenting and partnerships
• What healing can look like when we stop doing it alone

This isn’t just a talk — it’s a call to reflect, to release, and to remember that community care is part of the healing journey.

Join us at Eaton DC for Grieving Her, Honoring Me — an intimate healing event curated for women who are moving through life without their mother. Together, we’ll honor the complexity of grief while also making room to honor ourselves.

• Guided body movement to release what’s been stored
• A space to feel, to remember, and to reclaim your voice in the process

This is a radical act of love for yourself. A space where your grief is valid even after the flowers have faded.

You are still worthy of support. Your grief still deserves space.
