Rules, Ethics and fallout.
Within reason most will come across information on the craft that doesn’t match up to other searches.
Sometimes this is because it’s completely wrong information and other times it’s because what works for one doesn’t work for all. There are obviously rules to magick, ethics and fallout. All of these are the principles and should not be ignored, for everything comes at a price.
It’s also worth remembering that price is a personal debt paid for selfish or wrong doings. We believe Karma will repay 3 fold to the caster of spells or even just sender of intent when harmful to others. Other prices consist of offerings. These are gifts to the gods. A thank you for the power and energy you are asking for at your Alter.
We never use sacrifices. If the gods wish to take a soul they are fully capable. All living things are a creation of god and we cannot believe gods of any description would want you to take a life. We stick to flowers, candles, herbs, crystals and decorative items we create as gifts.
We bow on bended knee to no god or goddess, we stand proud with our arms held open to behold and welcome them.
When it comes to tools of the craft ie coloured candles, ribbons and incense these help to channel energy and intent from you to the rightful place but if your will is strong and your intention stronger you need no aid as the magick is in you. It’s your energy that connects you to the universe.
It is however nice to set the scene and fill your senses with relevant colours, smells and sigils.
If you are new to spell craft or not too confident in your work these things will be essential to you until your power grows.
You will hear so many people tell you they are a white witch. There is no such thing. It’s a way people feel better about what they do or are brainwashed by television programs and don’t delve into the old ways, laws and principles of magick. There is no light without darkness and no goodness without badness. At our best we are gray witches. No human soul is purely good especially if you are in a bad mood!
So remember it’s probably best to stay away from spell casting when you are not in best form.
This leads me to what Black magick is as it’s probably not what most thought it was. With the exception of blood magick, sacrificial rites, harming an innocent person and any rite or spell that draws upon demons or the devil as this goes beyond Black magick and should be given a wide birth.
Now ANY spell cast that is NOT a healing spell is Black magick. The reason I say this is because any magick used for self gratification and selfishness is black.
For example a love spell is taking away someone’s free will to make their own choices and therefore is of dark magick.
Now the best way to look at this is we can class most Black magick as gray as long as your spells and intent hurt no one and you are not bending the will of another. You also cannot cast on an unsuspecting person.
This breaks the law of Magick. It is unethical and a price will have to be paid. Karma is not kind to anyone who thinks they are above these laws.
Know your comfort zone, feel confident and draw upon the magick within your soul. Use it with respect and care to see and feel real results.
These are the principles we follow when we practice, these are laws ethics and fallout passed through time that we choose to follow and listen to. The choice for you lies with you.
Mote it be,
