Montana's Developmental Disabilities Program is incorporating "safety science" into the work of DD-care providers around the state. The Safety Science Model is about building a culture of safety and accountability rather than a reactive culture of finger-pointing. Many Montana providers are participating in this program.

Missoula's Parent Partner is hosting a Meet and Greet to connect with medical providers, therapists, counselors, and case managers on February 23rd, 7 pm. Parent Partners have a child of their own with healthcare needs. They are also specially trained to help families advocate and to support their emotional journey.
