Still making progress!!

Pretty sure I have a torn rotator cuff so I haven’t been able to do any heavy pushing movements. These last two months I’ve just been focusing on slow and controlled movements.

Hard work pays off💪

I’ve been putting the work in and I’m really starting to notice the results. Outside of my one cheat meal a week I haven’t broke my diet. I still eat a lot of the foods I like to eat I just focus more on my total calorie intake to make sure I’m in a deficit.

Here’s my pre workout meal this morning!

599 total calories
Protein: 34g
Carbs: 69g
Fats: 15g

1 scoop whey protein
2 chocolate rice cakes
2 tbsp peanut butter
1 banana 🍌

This breakfast literally takes under 5 minutes to make in the morning. So if you feel like you don’t have time in the morning this is the perfect option.

Transformation Progress Pics

I haven’t posted one of these in a while.

Two years ago I was 30lbs heavier and completely out of shape. It was weird for me because it was the first time in my life I ever let myself get that out of shape.

I look and feel like a completely different person today! My goal today is not to be the biggest guy or the most shredded. It’s simply to be healthy. I’ve been working in the fitness industry for quite some time now and I’ve seen first hand the to toll it takes on your body when you don’t make health a top priority.

Ive noticed that people who don’t focus on their health usually prioritize other things such as careers, friends, family, or relationships. There’s nothing wrong with that however, all those things can change. There’s people all over the world who have killed themselves for their career and made so many sacrifices but when the pandemic hit they lost there job. You’re stuck with your body forever so make your health a top priority like you do with everything else.

Here’s my pre workout meal this morning!!

3/4 cup Greek yogurt
2 chocolate rice cakes with 👇
2 tbsp peanut butter
5 medium strawberries 🍓

Perfect healthy breakfast if you don’t have time in the mornings. It takes just a few minutes to put all this together. You don’t have to cook anything. This is my go to on mornings like today when I have to get up and out early 💪

The hardest part about trying to get lean for me was finding a nutrition plan I would ENJOY following consistently. I’ve learned that the easiest way to stick with it is use the foods I actually enjoy eating on a daily basis and to track those calories in my fitness pal.

As long as you are burning more calories than you are putting in your body you should lose weight. That’s why it’s so important to track everything accurately.

If you haven’t already invest in a food scale and download my fitness pal.

I was able to go from 205lbs to 183lbs by just tracking calories. It wasn’t until recently I started to really focus on the macros.

🥙 Thursday’s lunch
7 oz ground turkey (93% lean)
1 cup white rice
1/2 cup of black beans

👉This meal is 553 calories

Here’s my pre workout meal this morning!!

471 total calories
Protein: 29g
Carbs: 41g
Fats: 22g

4 hard boiled eggs 🥚
1/2 cup oatmeal 🍲
1/2 cup strawberry 🍓

This takes just a few minutes to prepare in the morning. Perfect if you don’t have much time in the mornings. All you have to do is hard boil the eggs the night before.

If you want a little bit less calories you can separate the egg yoke and just have the egg whites with this breakfast.
