🌟 Another Year Passed, Another Chapter Embraced 🌟
Thank you for the bday wishes!
As I continue to reflect on the past year, I realize that it's the challenges that are sculpting and molding me into the human I am today. Each experience, whether joyous or difficult, has contributed to my growth, allowing me to become a stronger and more loving human being.
From 1st time attending Burning Man, attending an Ayahuascua experience from a Brazilian Shaman; Leading the 2nd ever FlowFam Weekend Retreat in Joshua Tree; to creating Unleash Your Authentic Voice group program and leading the first cohort (aka flowhort).
However, it wasn't all smooth sailing. I found myself wrestling with doubt, caring about what others think, fearing rejection by putting myself out there more. Even as a coach who helps others with their confidence using their voice - it continues to serve as my medicine.
In the midst of my personal journey, life threw a curveball when my Mom went to St. John's and found herself in critical condition. It's been a colorful and challenging time for both her and our family.
Yet, it is during this 'difficult' (bc it's all made up and perspective-driven) period that I discovered the incredible power of healing through music, the written word, and spoken expressions.
..These creative outlets became my solace, allowing me to process my emotions and find strength in the midst of adversity. 🎶✍️🎙️
On June 9th (the evening before my bday), I found myself staying at the hospital with my mom. It was a bittersweet moment that made me reflect on the cycle of life.
As I celebrated another year of existence, I couldn't help but feel a profound connection to the place where I was born 36 years ago (St. John's and being next to my Mom as midnight hit).
It reminded me of the interconnectedness of all things, how life can come full circle in the most unexpected ways. 🌍🌺
In the midst of it all, I managed to channel my emotions and experiences into a beautiful creation.
I wrote a song with heart and soul from 9 am to 2 pm. It was a cathartic process, a testament to the power of artistic expression and the ability to transform pain into something beautiful (Rebirth by MASU now on Spotify)

As I move forward into this new chapter, I carry with me the lessons learned, the moments cherished, and the love that has fueled my journey.
I am grateful for the opportunity to heal, to grow, and to share my experiences with all of you. Here's to another year of embracing life, creating art, and spreading love.
