Mma fight event got canceled but still made weight.

Periodising 8 weeks to lose 4kg of bodyfat for a past mma fight that got canceled from a new outbreak of covid19.
Cutting weight for competition should be predominantly fat loss.
Keeping dehydration to a minimal is key to maximising performance.

Difference between a one week meal plan and 2 nights of binge drinking.

The 2 photos are a conversation between my friend and client Chris. Chris has been using dexa scans to track his progress. The photo to the left is one week of a calculated, scientifically planned diet program , the 2nd photo is results in one week of alcohol consumption.
Alcohols affect is so significant that you can see direct results in scan results within a week .

- alcohol impairs muscle protein synthesis
- Alcohol inhibits absorption of nutrients.
- Not only is alcohol devoid of proteins, minerals, and vitamins, it actually inhibits the absorption and usage of vital nutrients such as thiamin (vitamin B1), vitamin B12, folic acid, and zinc.
- Last but not least, actually the worst in my opinion. Dehydration , hangover, interrupted sleep. Destroys performance.
