Mohit Singhal was refereed to The Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences, New Delhi for the treatment of non alcoholic liver cirrhosis. His condition is very critical and needs continuous medical attention. Mohit himself was in a private job and has a 16 yrs daughter who is a student of grade 10.

आगरा: डेंगू मरीजों के लिए रोटरी क्लब द्वारा प्लेटलेट्स दान कराया जा रहा है। सोमवार को क्लब के सदस्यों ने लोकल टूरिस्ट एसोसिएशन के साथ मिलकर शिविर लगाया। एसएन मेडिकल कालेज में तीन जंबो पैक दान किए।

The best gift one can give to another human being is blood donation. Today, when the World is challenged with a massive disaster such as the coronavirus pandemic, it is very important to consider blood donation. Blood donation activities have been hampered by the pandemic, resulting in dwindling blood and blood component reserves at the blood banks. In the backdrop of the current crisis, blood banks and transfusion services are failing to meet demand. Understanding the urgency & to celebrate National Doctors Day, today i.e. on 1st July, 2021 Rotary Club of Agra in association with the Department of Blood Transfusion, SN Medical College, Agra has organized a Blood Donation Camp at Upadhyay Hospital, Vibhav Nagar, Agra. Our members IPP - Rtn.(Dr.) Alok Mittal, Rtn. Vineet Singh (Director – Youth Services) & Rtn. Manoj R Kumar have also donated their blood for the noble cause.

If you donate money, you give food. But if you donate plasma, you give life. In continuation to extend plasma therapy to the maximum people, Rotary Club Agra was joined by Mr. Anshu Mittal in the mission, who volunteered his plasma in the service of humanity. We believe that campaign initiated by Rotary Club of Agra will soon be able to meet out all Plasma requirements that come to us.

We extend our gratitude to Dr. Neetu Chauhan (HOD- Blood Transfusion Department, SNMC, Agra) & Dr. Ashok Sharma (MD – Scientific Pathology, Agra) for their consistent support in the campaign.

If Youth take the charge, change has to come. Rotary Club of Agra is happy to announce another plasma donation by 27 year old Apoorv Jain who has come forward at this odd time to help the people fighting with covid 19 and donated his convalescent plasma in the service of humanity. This young man, who is also the Secretary of ‘Walk with Humanity Foundation’ has been actively organizing blood donation camps and other social activities from quite a long time now.

We are also grateful to Dr. Ashok Sharma (MD - Scientific Pathology) for the continuous support that he is giving to this campaign. Rotary Club of Agra is hopeful and believes that more and more people will join us in this movement and we will be able to help a larger community.

A hero is somebody who is selfless, who is generous in spirit, who just tries to give back as much as possible and help people. A hero to us is someone who saves people and who really deeply cares. We are pleased to introduce one such young hero – *Nitin Bansal* who came forward to donate his plasma which was immediately issued to two patients in a hope to save life. *Rotary Club of Agra* is also thankful to Mrs. Preeti Fauzdar (Founder – Yes We Can) who is also relentlessly working towards motivating people to come forward & donate plasma which is indispensably needed at this trying time.
