🚨 BIG ANNOUNCEMENT for all SCORAngels🚨

The SCORA World AIDS Day CREATIVITY CHALLENGE 2025 is officially launched and we’re inviting YOU to be part of it!

Commemorating this year's World AIDS Day, themed, “Overcoming Disruption, Transforming the AIDS Response,” SCORA is calling on all medical students in Ghana to play their role in the AIDS Advocacy by telling us something about HIV/AIDS in their own creative way!

From poetry and drama to songs, drawings, and poster presentations..., etc. it’s your stage, your voice and your moment to shine.

Read the poster to know who is Eligible and when Submission opens and closes.
Tag your colleagues. Rally your squad. Let’s make this challenge unforgettable!

On the 1st of December, SCORA joined the global community to support people living with HIV and renewed our commitment to ending stigma and promoting access to safe, inclusive HIV services on this year's World AIDS Day with the theme "Overcoming Disruption, Transforming the AIDS Response".

As SCORA members, that day reminded us of our responsibility to:
1. Raise awareness on HIV prevention, testing and treatment.
2. Fight stigma and misinformation.
3. Empower young people with accurate SRHR information.
4. Advocate for equitable access to care for all.

Even as at now, we know every action count and together, we can transform the AIDS response and build a healthier, stigma-free future.

As we continue to embark on our year long advocacy and sensitization campaign on HIV, we also remembered the lives of friends, family and loved ones who were lost to AIDS-related illnesses and to the stigma of HIV, and all those who have devoted their lives helping others afflicted by HIV.
As we commemorate the International AIDS CandleLight Memorial 2025, "we Remember, we Rise, we Lead" with everyone in the community.

Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) calls attention to the fact that sexual abuse, assault and harassment are widespread and impact every person and Community.
Ending sexual abuse, assault and harassment requires more than individual action because it takes all of us working together, looking out for each other, and promoting one another's safety and well-being.
This month, our aim is to raise awareness about sexual violence and educate people on how to prevent it. We believe that, "Together we Act, United we Change". It is only together that we will have the power to build a future free from violence, where all individuals feel safe, valued and respected.

The month of March gives us a pivotal moment of Liberation and commemorates our Freedom. This day is a powerful symbol of Self-Determination and the realization of our Rights to chart our own Destiny.
True sovereignty is the supreme authority for all of us both male and female to be able to seek healthcare in areas affecting our sexuality and talk to health professionals about them. This is where we, SCORAngels extend our helping hands.
