"The mystery of life isn't a problem to solve, but a reality to experience." - Frank Herbert

There are so many mysteries to life, but it's rare to find their answers from trying to think them up. The biggest mysteries in life can only be learned through experience. You'll come to some incredible realizations from thinking things through, but there's a reason why no one can explain what the meaning of life is. It's not that the meaning of life doesn't exist, it's that it's different for everyone, and it can't be spoken. The meaning of life is something you only come to understand from living it. Don't worry if you don't know what the meaning of your life is. Most people don't, and that's okay. Even if it doesn't seem like it sometimes, it really is okay to not have all the answers. Even if you find the meaning of life right now, at this very moment, that meaning can change as you grow older, as what mattered to you most at one time might not matter as much to you later on. Some people might say that the meaning of life is decided by a passion so great that they would die for it, but far more important than anything they would die for is what they would truly live for. It's not easy to find something so great that you would live your life for it, but that's why you can't think it up; you have to live the answer. What do you live for? Stay home, stay safe, solve the mystery of life by really living it, and stay positive. ❤️🌤

You can't always control what happens to you, but you can control your reaction to it. In turn, you also can't control anyone else's reactions, as they're the only ones that can choose how they react to things. Try not to hide the truth from others when you speak, in thinking that they will be upset with you. They will react however they react, and you are not responsible for their reactions. Likewise, if others say or do something that angers you, saddens you, etc., consider your reaction, and ask yourself if the way you're reacting is both good and helpful for you and the speaker. You can control your reactions, so try not to let them get the better of you. In life, just as in conversation, the same idea applies. When life pushes you down, will you choose to stay down, or will you roll with the punches and stand back up? Will you lash out at those around you, or will you show love and compassion in your time of need, and do your best to accept their love and compassion in return? You might not be able to control others, and you might not be able to control everything in your life, but you can absolutely control how you react to them, and learning to respond to situations in beneficial ways is a supremely powerful skill. Have yourselves a lovely night, and remember to react well. Stay home, stay safe, and stay positive. ❤️🌤

"Wise sayings often fall on barren ground, but a kind word is never thrown away." - Arthur Helps

Take a moment to tag someone you care about, and give them a compliment in the comments!

Wise sayings can inspire, and that's certainly important, but if you really want to make a difference in someone's day, give them a compliment. It's amazing how powerful compliments can be, and yet it feels like as time goes on, we hear fewer and fewer of them. They can be so rare these days that you might feel surprised or even shocked when you're given one. Many people are struggling through this era of quarantining that we're all living through, so compliments can mean even more now than ever before. It can be intimidating to give someone a compliment sometimes, but in the end, it will almost always be appreciated, as long as you're genuine when giving them. With that in mind, compliment someone today. You have an opportunity to make someone's day, so if possible, try to focus on something a bit more meaningful than basic observations. While you could say something like, "You're funny," and that's always nice to hear, you could elaborate on that, and say something like, "I'm always amazed by how you always find hilarious ways to make life seem so much more entertaining than it sometimes feels. You have a way of making the ordinary feel extraordinary, and I've always appreciated that about you." Take time today to show your family and friends that you appreciate them by giving them compliments. Stay home, stay safe, give at least one compliment today, and stay positive. ❤️🌤

One of the things that can make you feel the most comfortable in life is feeling that you have control over it. While there are many things that you can control, there are also many things you can't, and unfortunately, many of us spend so much of our lives focusing on the things we can't control. You might worry about whether your crush has feelings for you, why your boss snapped at you the other day, or why this global pandemic never seems to end. While it's natural to wonder about all of these things, there is nothing about any of these things that we can easily control. We cannot control the feelings of others, nor how they react to anything we do or say, as that is only something they can control. As much as we might like to have control over this pandemic, we unfortunately can't make it go away just by wishing for it to leave. Things might feel overwhelming and hopeless when we worry about what we can't change, so instead, try to focus on yourself, your thoughts, your words, and your actions. You might not be able to control the world, but you can control yourself and how you react to those things, and that counts for a lot. You can spend your days worrying about your fear of the dark, or you can look at what you can control, and turn the light on. Stay home, stay safe, focus on what you can control, and stay positive. ❤️🌤

Type "I AM NOT AFRAID" in the comments if you agree!

There will be any number of times throughout your life where you feel good and comfortable. Things are going relatively well, all things considered. You might not have your dream job, car, home, relationship, etc., but you acknowledge that things could be worse, so you feel some kind of satisfaction with how your life is. It's at this point that many people stay right where they are in life, and allow everything to become stagnant. You might find certain aspects of your to be deeply unfulfilling, but find reasons to believe that it's no big deal to be feeling that way, because that's just how life is. If this is sounding like you, try to remember that there is no rule in life that says you need to feel unfulfilled, and that you're feeling the way you are because you've chosen to keep your life unchanged. If you feel like there's potential for a better life, you're probably right, but you'll need to be willing to leave behind your current situation in order to try out something new. It might be an incredibly scary prospect, but don't be afraid to give up what already isn't making you happy, especially if you have the potential to find something new that does. Your happiness matters, and you deserve a fulfilling life. Stay home, stay safe, reach for something greater, and stay positive. ❤️🌤

Comment “YES” if you find yourself hesitating before big tasks, or when creating!

When you have a task in front of you, it can sometimes be difficult to even know where to start when trying to complete it. You might be overwhelmed by just how much is involved with this task, or maybe you're confused about how to go about completing it, but after you just start somewhere, you might realize that you were overthinking it the whole time. We have a tendency to overcomplicate things from time to time, and simplifying things is a great way to figure out a starting point. To quote Lewis Carroll, "Begin at the beginning and go on till you come to the end; then stop." It doesn't get much simpler than starting wherever you choose to begin, and once you start the task, the path forward toward its completion will frequently reveal itself to you. This isn't only true with large tasks, but also with your creative process, as you might know where you want a project to end, but you might not know where to start. Whether your intention is to paint a small blade of grass or a towering oak tree, you can think for days about the best process for painting them and overthink where to start, or you can simply grab the paint and brush, and see what happens. Maybe you'll mess up when beginning, but you'll have learned a better way to start, and you'll still be further ahead than if you spent all of that time thinking over every little detail. Stay home, stay safe, try not to overthink too much, and stay positive. ❤️🌤

When deciding what directions you want to take your life in, you'll want to make a plan for how to get there. It can be really exciting to imagine yourself living the dream you've always wanted, but to make it truly become a reality, you're going to want to set reasonable goals for yourself to make this dream more manageable to attain. You won't want to make goals so difficult that they'll feel overwhelming, and you won't want to make them so loose that you'll barely have to work for them. You want the milestones in your journey to be reasonable to reach, where they provide a challenge that can motivate you to work hard, but are also realistically achievable. It can be tricky to strike a balance when creating goals, so getting into the finer details of what you'll include in one goal versus the goal you’ll complete after is a great way to avoid putting too much on your plate at once. To take your goal-setting to the next level, make SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound) goals. A quick example of one would be to set a goal of losing 15 lbs (Specific and Measurable) by working out four days every week (Achievable and Relevant) for the next three months (Time-Bound). If you would like more information regarding effective goal-setting, please send a message. Stay home, stay safe, set reasonable goals that you can achieve, and stay positive. ❤️🌤

"If people knew how hard I worked to get my mastery, it wouldn't seem so wonderful at all." - Michelangelo

Share with someone you consider to be a master!

Masters aren't born; they're made. To quote the song "10,000 Hours" by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, "The greats weren't great because at birth they could paint. The greats were great because they'd paint a lot." You're no different than the greats; you've simply put less time, practice, and patience into something than they have. It's natural to feel overwhelmed and discouraged at various points along your journey to become a master, but take comfort in knowing that you're not alone in feeling that way, and that you will almost certainly become a master eventually. See, most masters don't even realize that they're masters at all, as it isn't easy to know once a truly masterful level of skill has been acquired, and that's why there's a good chance that you‘ll become a master at some point in your life. In fact, you might already be one. Sure, you might not be a master in whatever craft you're imagining, but if you've had children and raised them to the best of your ability, wouldn't you have put in enough time and effort to become a master mother or father? If you've been close friends with someone for decades, wouldn't you have shared enough of your life with them to become a master friend? Just by living life to the best of your ability, you can become a master parent, friend, sibling, spouse, boss, worker, person, etc. You’re a master in the making! Stay home, stay safe, be masterful, and stay positive. ❤️🌤

"A winner never stops trying." - Tom Landry

Share if you're someone that doesn't stop trying.

Most things don’t come to you on your first try, and frequently not even your first few tries. You might not do well in an interview, you might botch a meeting with a client, or you might get rejected by your crush, but in each scenario, you tried, and that counts for a lot. You saw an opportunity to reach out for something that could make your life even greater, and that’s more than many people do. After trying enough times, you might land a job, but it might not be your dream job, and the next person you date might not be the person you spend the rest of your life with, but you’ll never find that perfect job and partner if you never try to find them. Don’t give up, and don’t be afraid, because as long as you try, your dreams are within reach, and you can win. Stay home, stay safe, stay positive, and try. Try, try, and try again. ❤️🌤
