Inductions!

Did you know you can say NO?
Do you even know what an induction is? How they’ll “induce you”?
What are the pros & CONS?

The process of induction is literally an attempt to force your body into labor.
The part that they don’t tell you is IF YOUR BODY AND BABY ARENT READY, there is NOTHING they can do to make it ready! Which is why a good majority end in Cesarean 🥺.

Most women are induced using Synthetic oxytocin known as Pitocin. Pitocin causes unnatural contractions 😣 and elevated stress to your baby.
Pitocin also doesn’t assist in softening your cervix of effacement 😔.

If your provider is recommending inducing you because you’re 39 weeks without medical necessity DECLINE!!

A “BIG BABY” isn’t a medical necessity!
39 weeks isn’t a medical necessity.
Being tired isn’t a medical necessity!

Wanna avoid all of this?
•Get educated on physiologic birth.
•HIRE A DOULA early!
•Shop around for a midwife or OBGYN BEFORE you get pregnant and interview them.

The choice of induction is up to the MOTHER and the Mother only!
This choice should be an EDUCATED and informed choice, not one of fear or sloth.
Don’t rush your baby or get caught up on due dates!

Applied knowledge is power!
