Your Body Your Move was founded by husband and wife team John Buckett (he/his) and Jo Reynolds (she/hers). T'ai Chi & Chi Gung (Qigong) comprise a series of slow and gentle movements to help with balance, strength, flexibility, and managing stress.

Our sessions provide accessible and inclusive exercise for all ages, body types, and abilities.

We've had anecdotal evidence from our session participants that have Parkinsons that they felt the yoga was benefitting them, with their symptoms improving after a session. It's good to read that Tai Chi may also help.

At Your Body Your Move we offer accessible sessions that are suitable for most people.

In our Your Yoga Sessions, John guides you through variations and although most of our participants are comfortable standing, those who need to use chairs are able to.

We also offer Your Chair Yoga sessions where all our participants use a chair.

Yoga is not just about the movement, it's also about stillness. John's sessions always finish with a guided relaxation, but in this busy world we need to look for opportunities to relax more than just once a week.

I need to get more intentional about doing this, I suspect I'm not alone!

We can always think of a reason not to do something, and one that John hears a lot is 'I'm a bit too old to start yoga'....

It's so good to hear from our session participants when they say that yoga has improved their flexibility and mobility.

Many of our participants come initially because their physiotherapists have said yoga may help them, they stay with us because they enjoy the friendly and accessible sessions.
