Naomi freiDus
Massage Therapist, Yoga Teacher & Doula
With over 30 years of experience in both traditional and holistic healing arts, Naomi bring a compassionate, grounded approach to bodywork and care. Her journey began in clinical social work and oncology support, where she witnessed the profound resilience of the human spirit. Over time, her path shifted toward hands-on healing as she deepened her connection to nature, spirituality, and embodied wellness.
After stepping away from social work to raise her children in the mountains of Lake Tahoe, Naomi was called toward a more integrative, heart-centered way of supporting others. Immersed in nature and a season of personal transformation, Naomi found healing through yoga, touch, and stillness—tools that later became the foundation of her work. Following a divorce in midlife, she returned to school to study massage therapy and fully embraced the healing arts as her life’s calling.
Naomi’s massage practice blends deep tissue, healing, and therapeutic techniques. She incorporates heat, as well as moving and static cupping, to prepare the body for deep work—calming the sympathetic nervous system and supporting profound release. She specializes in addressing pain rooted in emotional trauma, injury, illness, and chronic stress.
Naomi’s work is also shaped by her experience as a yoga teacher and doula, holding space for the body and spirit through life’s most tender transitions. She feels honored to serve at NOL Sanctuary, where healing, presence, and transformation are supported by community and the rhythms of nature.
