NEED MEDICAL ASSISTANT
PAY RATE DEPENDS ON EXPERIENCE.
FULL-TIME POSITION.
*Must have a Medical Assistant Certification. Must have at least 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience.
Medical Assistant responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Performs and accurately records patient's chief complaint, medical history, screening tests, vital signs, vision, ear lavages.
-Assists medical provider and maintains a clean and safe environment accordance with the practice policies and procedures.
-Great communicator. Able to deal tactfully and professionally with patients, families, staff, and physician.
-Assist provider with examinations.
-Performs simple laboratory procedures, and send specimens to appropriate laboratories.
-Must work well in a high patient volume environment.
-Prepare necessary vaccines for patients and document them properly.
-Accurately complete form for laboratory specimens.
-Must know how to use a computer and be comfortable using and EMR system.
-Scanning and printing.
-Answering phone lines.
-Must have knowledge of medical terminology.
-Restocking all rooms with supplies.
-Call patients for lab recalls.
-Set up appointments for lab recalls.
-Must have open availability Monday-Saturday.
