The difference between prebiotics and probiotics.

Prebiotics are what the probiotic bacteria feed off of so they do their job. Examples of prebiotcs are foods high in fiber such as onions, leeks, carrots, tomatoes, bananas, dandelion greens, asparagus, and yams.

On the other hand, probiotics are live bacteria and are found in fermented foods such as kimchi, miso, kefir, yogurt, and others.

To keep a healthy balanced gut, eat foods rich in prebiotics and probiotics several times per week.
