“The only yoga I can do is Power Yoga.”
A friend told me,
And she’s not the first.
For many, every other kind of yoga feels…
too slow, too quiet, too boring.

But in a world that’s always rushing,
a world of screens, shortcuts, quick fixes,
endless thoughts and constant doing-

maybe the real challenge is not to move faster…
but to pause.
To slow down.
And how challenging it is to pause and sit with-
Our mind.

To sit with the breath we tend to forget.
To meet the thoughts as they come-
one after another
and learn not to chase them,
but to simply watch.

In the moment you want to quit
To change pose, to drop the hands down
That’s where we can truly expand.

To return, again and again,
to this body.
To the ground
To your breath.
To this moment.

That’s presence.
That’s meditation in motion.
That’s
The magic power
of yoga

היא לא הראשונה שאומרת לי את זה.

הרבה אנשים מרגישים שכל סוג אחר של יוגה פשוט…
איטי מדי, שקט מדי, קצת משעמם.

אבל אולי
דווקא שם
נמצא האתגר האמיתי.
בעולם שלא מפסיק לרוץ,
עם מסכים, קיצורי דרך, פתרונות מהירים,
ומחשבות שלא נותנות לנו רגע לנשום —

אולי האתגר הוא לא לעשות יותר,
אלא לעצור.
להאט.

כי הדבר הכי מאתגר בעולם זה לשבת
בשעמום
עם עצמנו. עם המיינד שלנו
שרק חס וחלילה לא יהיה רגע של שקט

לשבת עם הנשימה ששכחנו.
לפגוש את המחשבות כשהן עולות
אחת ועוד אחת
ולא לרדוף אחריהן,
פשוט להתבונן.

לחזור, שוב ושוב,
אל הגוף, אל הנשימה,
אל הרגע הזה.

דווקא בשעמום, ב״נו יאללה״
דווקא איפה שמאתגר

שם נוכל להתרחב.
שם נמצאת הנוכחות.

שם מתחילה המדיטציה בתנועה.
שם נמצא הכוח הקסום
של היוגה

ומה איתך?
מה היוגה בשבילך?

For the past week I was off
Didn’t want to talk
Was upset
Impatient
Sad
Eating unhealthy
And just didn’t want to leave my bed..
The sun was out
but I was in.

Today was better
Today I exercised
I breathed
I moved
I talked to friends
Talked to the sun
Today the sun is still shining
And I’m trying

Comparison
How many times did you find yourself looking at your phone going on Instagram or somewhere on earth and without even notice, compare yourself to others?

I know I do. Most of the time I am really trying to take inspiration from the people I follow.
But Sometimes I find myself doing other things as well..
I’m not perfect and nobody is. We can just do ourself a favor and stop comparing ourselves to others.
We can always wish for a better version of ourselves, but we must talk nicely to self.
Self is very sensitive.

Follow the people that resonates with your heart, follow subjects that you like and that makes you feel good and inspired. Unfollow things who don’t.
And the most important thing, love yourself the way you are, and always work to be a better self. Only then you and the self will be free 🦋

Self can be only compared to self. Unless, self will lose itself
