The Foundation Trainee Surgical Society (FTSS) East Midlands has been set up as a platform to encourage and support junior doctors considering a career in surgery. The initiative was conceived by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, creating a national network of FTSS societies dedicated to the pursuit of excellence and advancement in surgical practice.
