We all know how Kennadee likes to play tricks on us. I picked her up tonight and noticed her ear was full of blood. I took her to Nowata ER to discover their is NO tube in her right ear and her ear drum has ruptured. You would never know by how she was climbing up the bed then sliding down. Got an ear drop to use for tonight then we have to call her P*P and ENT in the morning. This can either heal on its own or the ENT can go in and place a patch in her ear. Will know more tomorrow after I make phone calls. Her ear was perfect when we saw the ENT on Halloween.

**On another note make sure you give the Nowata ER a chance when possible. We were there less than an hour and didn't have to drive to Tulsa.

We had an early appointment in OKC for KD to have another hearing test and for the ent to check out her tubes, she went from severe hearing loss before the tubes to almost a year later mild hearing loss. Then she had an appointment with gi to check her weight and ask a bunch of questions about what she eats. She is up to 25 pounds! So all we're happy!

We had some time to kill in between appointments so we went down to visit the cardiac icu where she spent months 2-6 of her life, and a month after her major repair just after turning one. The Dr's knew exactly who she was and she BLEW them away with how big she is and how much progress she has made! She even walked right up to the dr who admitted her on her 1 month birthday after being life-flighted to OKC. A few of the nurses we had during our stay remembered her and came and saw her also.

We made it all the way back home to where Talala after the 4 lane goes into 2 (luckily just a few miles from the house) and my front tire decided to immediately go flat. I was able to pull off onto the next county road. I had the trunk open and was trying to figure out how to put the jack together and get the spare tire down. Yes I know how to change a tire just not with the equipment available, so familiarize yourself with what your car comes with if you have never actually had to change a tire on the side of the road. A good Samaritan headed hone from work saw me fidgeting around with the truck open and asked I needed help I said I'm trying to change a tire so he jumped out and had it changed within about 10 mins before our help could even come rescue us.

So Thankful their are still good people in this world and we were in Talala instead of on the interstate.

So with our good news and our troubles today we weren't able to make it back to take Jaycee trick or treating, luckily nana was available to take her. Then Jaycee got to hand out candy at meme's and Kennadee could not be left out she wanted to be in the middle of handing the candy out.

Kennadee is absolutely loving school. I ask her are you ready to go to school and she gets all excited.

I have caught her several times this evening standing up against something then she grabs a toy and forgets that she needs to hold on so she is standing there independently then she realizes and grabs whatever she is standing against.

Kennadee had a checkup with her endocrinologist this morning. She thinks she has outgrown her calcium deficiency and dosent want to see her back for a year! Having digeorge one of the things that comes with it is calcium deficiency so this is something big for her to overcome. We had a little extra time before therapy so we went to the park so this baby could swing.

Kennadee is doing well and thriving! She started "school" 1 day a week for 2 hours that I attend with her. She has 5 kid...

Kennadee is doing well and thriving! She started "school" 1 day a week for 2 hours that I attend with her. She has 5 kids in her class and they all have special needs. So it's perfect for her and she likes it.

We are still continuing all of her therapies. She still dosen't walk but she is so close. She is still learning to eat, slowly but surely she is getting there but we are no where close to ditching the mickey button yet. She only says "mama" when she wants to. But she is getting pretty good with her sign language or letting you what she wants.

From a cardiac standpoint she is stable and has no restrictions. We had to start a new medicine because the pressure in heart is high but not a reason to intervene. She should still be good another 3ish years before she needs another open heart surgery. They will try and do as much as they can in the cath lab before that is needed so it will be awhile.

All in all she is perfect.

Boo has a virus so unfortunately they did not give her any antibiotics. She has had some troubles and needed to be on a little bit of oxygen so they are going to start her on a steroid tonight in hopes to get off the oxygen so we can go home.

We had to hold her down and suction the junk out of her and tape down an oxygen cannula because her o2 is too low. Both arms are wrapped up to keep her from ripping it off. They are surprised at how strong she is. I tell this ain't her first time.
