e things everyday. As your therapist, my goal is to help give you the hope and healing you need to reach your goals, to find happiness and to be the best version of yourself. I believe that individuals from all diverse backgrounds are created with an equal worth and thus all deserve to be given the help they need. My hope is for us to develop a relationship where you can trust me, be honest with me and feel safe, knowing that I am here to listen, support, and accept you for who you are and will not judge you. I am here to walk alongside with you in your journey to growth and wellness. I believe in taking a holistic approach that encompasses the mind, body, and spirit to reaching your goal. Although this journey may not be easy, I believe we can grow from our vulnerability. I also believe it's important to include cultural approaches in therapy and be able to embrace one's culture. I aim at helping you discover the strengths and confidence you have within, to be yourself and to live by your values, not by society's values. I'm here to help you make decisions, problem solve and use healthy coping skills to get through difficult times and help you reach your goals. I hope you’re able to get the help you’re looking for.

If you want to feel better, 1st ask yourself do you really want to feel better. Then ask yourself why.

It is a choice, and if you choose yourself, you can choose not to dwell on negative things in your life, but give yourself a moment, 20-30 minutes, and choose to think of the positive things in your life, what you DO have and not what you don't have. Think of all the things/people you are grateful for, it especially helps too if you think of specific reasons why you're thankful for it, and write it all down. You will feel better, having an Attitude of Gratitude. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone, every day.

Practice these things during communication: (wisdom really makes a difference)

Instead of, “why are you so mad at me?” ……. Use, “Why are you trying to protect yourself?”

Why are you running away or hiding? …….. Why are you trying to calm down right now and process your thoughts/emotions, or why are you taking care of your emotions?

Why are you so defensive? ......... Why are you trying to speak your truth? Why are you giving me an answer? (because you asked, and you want me to speak my truth or perspective) (because you don’t want me to tell you just what you want to hear)

Why are we arguing about this again? ……… Why are you trying so hard to solve our problems by talking or why are you trying so hard to make us happy?

Have you lost a loved one? I know it hurts... ALOT. Why? Because of how close you are, how much that person means to you, it will hurt even more to lose that person. The amount of love you have for that person will equal the amount of pain, but you can choose to let love be stronger. With love, there is happiness. Allow yourself to release all the tears, as painful as it is, do it for your loved one to show how much they mean to you, and in return, you also do it for yourself, for healing.

I myself lost a loved one, my son, my firstborn who would've been 30 today. I'm sad he's not here, but I'm also happy he gave us 24 yrs that will last us a lifetime. I remember my brother saying at my son's funeral, people die young so that it teaches us how to live.

I sent this message to my family this morning
"Please family... we are still alive today. Don't take each other for granted. Love one another and live your life to the fullest. We are each very precious to God. Be you. There's only one you. Your life is a gift- God doesn't want you to waste it. He wants you to enjoy your gift of life. The blessings he gave you is meant to be shared w others"

What happens when we’re too emotional, not get help, don’t have good self care or don’t prioritize our well-being?

We make mistakes, we make regrets, we hurt those we love and we can’t ever go back and undo what we did. Don’t let it be too late. It’s ok to get help. It’s ok to prioritize your needs. You are worth it. Your loved ones are worth it.

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! To my clients who entrust their relationship or marriage to my services and care. It means a lot to me, and yes I’m very happy for the hard work that you do to fight for each other, and then it working out beautifully in the end or you feeling like the worse is over and that you can get through anything. You have a beautiful relationship that is meant to be shared together and enjoyed. You give me a gift as well because I’m encouraged, inspired and affirmed that although this job can be hard, I really love what I do and love helping others. Be Human, don't be Ai

Consider how Ai may be taking away from our gift, our individualism of authenticity, genuineness, honesty, originality that transfer to collectivism as a whole, that makes us human.

Or would we rather just take the easy way out, add to convenience, impatience, entertainment, comfort, wanting the next big thing, and more and more in our society? When will all that we have today be enough? Enjoy your present moment.

Are you living honestly? Are you doing things for the right reasons? Do it because you want to. Not because you have to, otherwise how does that make it genuine? Do things for your partner because you want to do it, not because they're asking you to. You call the shots, you're in control of your decisions.

Can someone really make you do something? No, but only if you let them.

What do you like most about your childhood?

Back in the day, we had no choice- if we wanted to have fun, we had to make it ourselves and use our imagination and what we had available. If we wanted to make friends, we had to go talk to others. The difference with back then is we had to rely on our own strength, we had more honest, trustworthy and reliable evidence (real time, in person) for deeper connections, to feel wanted, like we belong, we had to try harder to understand and accept each other's differences. We appreciated these moments and time w others, but today we easily turn to video games, online platforms, social media for fun and friends. We may do it out of convenience, instant gratification and therefore, putting in less work.

Today it's easy to give up on a person and to easily move onto the next person because there's too many people to choose from, too many standards and expectations and so we keep ending up disappointed. We're not building a trusting reliable support system and can be deceived.

It's sad that anxiety is on the rise for a lot of young people. I hope together, we can help them understand their options and help them build the strength they need to make quality and genuine relationships.
