It’s National Women’s Health and Fitness Day!

Health and fitness are two things that are a part of my lifestyle whether at work or my daily life. We know health is mind and body. On top of hitting the gym, running, hiking, walking, biking etc it also looks like mindfulness, meditation or prayer. Have you been intentional lately in any of these areas. If not.....

Pick one thing you can do today:
Schedule that appointment you've been putting off
Take a walk
Meditate, journal, sit in stillness even if its just for 5 minutes
Drink more water today
Say no to one thing you know will add chaos so you can say yes to peace

What you can expect is care with YOU in mind. From head to toe, top to bottom, inside and out. It's understood that I may have the expertise in the pelvic floor and core but only you have the expertise in what your body and your specific situation. Care plans and goals work for you tailored to your lifestyle and routine. Guess what?? That's one of things I love most about what I do. Getting to walk WITH you on your healing journey. While this list may not cover every single diagnosis or challenge, it will help give you an idea of what is covered here.

Its been a while!!

Allow me to re-introduce myself🎶

My name is Foli and I’m the face behind Inspire Wellness and Pelvic Health. I’m a Pelvic Floor Therapist and Occupational Therapist and I treat people who are pregnant, post partum and beyond. My love of Pelvic Health stemmed from my own experiences as a new mom. Now 3 kids later I help those who are experiencing pelvic health or core challenges in various ways.

A little about me, I am a mom of 3 school age kids ranging 6-10 and they are absolutely amazing. I’m an avid runner- you can catch me hitting the pavement multiple times a weeks ! Along with running, my husband and I have a youth track and field club- so during track season its a family affair, the whole crew can be found on the track most evenings. I love reading....dystopian or sci-fi anyone??

I started Inspire Wellness because there are so many challenges that you can encounter during the pregnancy and postpartum period that are difficult to navigate and so many don’t realize that there is actually a whole niche of professionals that are here to help. Most importantly the landscape of the medical community needs to change. We need more representation, increased access and varied perspectives and lenses by which care can be provided while still being evidence based.

Its been a hot minute. Wish I could say I was away creating some great content to roll out. The truth is.....Ive been juggling. Just like so many I know. But you know what else? Between those moments Ive been board gaming, hiking, running....lots of running and most of all stealing moments to relish in conversations with the little minds of my home.

So welcome to my corner of the internet...... I’m glad you’re here!
